Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Do not get your car cleaned by these scammers

Terrible company! Please do not take your car unless you want to pay out for repairs. My alloys were completely destroyed with their alloy cleaner which basically was pure acid. I complained and was sent a letter from head office basically saying we use the right cleaner and please refer to the waiver at each car wash. So basically if they damage your car it’s not their fault…the damage is costing me 2500 pounds to repair. Not worth it for a 25 pound car wash.

Tesco St Helens

Tesco - St Helens. With all the negative comments, you should go to the ST Helens Tesco . Always do a good job and polite. Maybe, it’s a training issue?

Awful company to deal with!

Awful company to deal with! Took my car to be washed at Buckshaw Village Tesco. They caused damage and then denied all knowledge, tried to say that it was already like that. I have been through the official complaints procedure and gotten absolutely nowhere!! It is going to cost me £200 to have it repaired, so unfair :(

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, pricing was not clear. Wash was very poor. Bad attitude of the man in charge. Will not recommend or use again. Feel truly conned.

Cheaty people. Avoid.

Cheaty people, avoid! I took my small car at Waves by Tesco Hendon, London, for a simple wash. The manager asked me if I only wanted to get it washed outside (which is £10) or if I wanted extra window/dash cleaning inside for £18. I declined the extra cleaning inside and I said only outside. I noticed the washers were quickly cleaning inside but I thought it was a goodwill gesture as my car is small. Well, when I asked how much it was, he asked me £18! I paid as I was not in the mood to complain. To note that it happened exactly the same to the car that was washed alongside with mine, the car's owner got furious and complained and said "do not do this to me". He was fooled like me! I have the feeling this is a recurrent behaviour.

Sprowston, Tesco Car Wash

When I arrived, I asked what it would cost to have my seats thoroughly washed on my Ford Cemax 2011. He responded £125 which then reduced to £95 followed lastly by £85 which I agreed to. I returned an hour later and whilst waiting for my car to be finished I looked at their price list where the most expensive thing on the menu was £75? Naturally I then challenged the person in charge as to why my price started at £125 and ended up still at a price which was way over the most expensive item on the list? He didn't and couldn't specifically answer my question and seemed to seriously struggle how we ended up at the price which he quoted. On top of that he confirmed that he had categorized my car as a 4 which is the largest vehicle, 1 being the smallest. How on earth is a Ford Cemax in the same category as a Transit Van?

I have visited Waves in Hammersmith…

I have visited Waves in Hammersmith twice and on each occasion car was cleaned by Elena and a male colleague, they don't just do a quick job like some. First time I went I had a Landrover Freelander and I think it was about £22 to get it cleaned inside and out a little more attention to detail and it would have been perfect. On the 20th March 2022 I returned with the car I have now a Saab Vectra Estate and it was the first wash since buying the car and it cost £27 to clean inside and out again a little more attention to detail and it would have been perfect. I feel Elena is the better cleaner there.
