Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Left my car with them and told them I’d be 40 minutes shopping so they said they could only do outside. I came back after an hour and they hadn’t even washed my car. Wasn’t too busy just forgot. Told me to come back the next day
Pissed off is not the word! Just paid £27 for my 2 seater car to be cleaned inside and out with an £8 paint protection. Got back 50 mins later told it was ready as i was in a hurry i just paid and left. Got home checked it over and look at the state of it. Not been hoovered, wheels are dirty, i had to dry the door shuts myself and i very much doubt its seen any kind of pain protection. It looks like its just had a wipe over at best. I demand my £27 back immediately
I’ve attempted to use Waves Car Wash at Tesco in Sunbury upon Thames on two occasions and both times have been met by an extremely grumpy and rude member of staff, telling me that they were busy and I’d have to wait 2 hours. This morning at 09.30 he told me that he had two cars in already, to which I replied ‘so can you do my car or not?’ He shrugged his shoulders and said come back later, which i clearly wasn’t going to do as I was at Tesco to do my shopping.
I understand that he may have been busier than he wanted to be but his attitude was shocking. He clearly wasn’t interested in bringing in customers.
Total rip off merchants. Told me the only service he could give was £45 when I actually get my car cleaned inside and out every week for £20... since this time I have spoken with 2 people who had the same experience
Booked in advance to have my car cleaned with waves at Tesco (sidcup) appointment was at 9.00 I arrived on time only to find the it was not open, tried calling and it went straight to voicemail, waited for 45 minutes before leaving, received no explanation or apology. Will not be going back!
Would give no stars but not an option. I arrived when they were too busy to fit me in. Advised me to come back at 4pm, they would be closing at 4.30pm. I returned at 4pm where just one car was being cleaned. My return was an obvious disappointment to the employee who i spoke to originally. He sat in his car, smoking, shaking his head at me. He gestured to me by flicking his hand to drive into the bay to start the wash. Needless to say I left, car unwashed. Really poor service and unpleasant employees. Customers treated like an annoyance.
Arrived at waves car wash gloucester tesco as I've used them multiple times for a variety of cars over the years to be told that my car is too dirty and wanted to charge me £8 over the stated rate. So if your car is dirty and you want to be ripped off go to waves car wash gloucester. I've spent alot of money with them over the years but now not another penny their way
