Waves Car Wash has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.
Today, went to waves car wash at Tesco Lee Mill near Plymouth. £30 inside and out - 1 hour wait. Pointed out all the mud on the inside. After the so called clean, none of the mud removed. Waste of money. Will never return.
One star rating is being too generous. Went to Waves Car Wash at Sainsbury’s in Winchester quoted £30 inside and out, cash only. They said to come back in 45 minutes which we did, car not even cleaned, when we complained they were rude, laughter in our face and on top of that they lost our car keys. Total waste of our time, avoid them like the plague.
Tesco waves car wash Salisbury.
Very disappointed paid £20 loads of areas missed specially the wheels didn’t do inside door or boots. Lots of scratches and paint blown off my car!
Very dissapointed I had to go home to finish the job!
Went yesterday to Waves at Tesco Exeter. Was charged £14 for a basic wash on a Mini. There was no inside vacuuming done as I didn't ask for that. The wash itself was a disgrace, they never touched the door sills. Steer well clear.
I usually go to Sudbury car wash. However I will not be returning, I was waiting to be served and I was ignored about 15 minutes, I could see they were busy however they didn’t even acknowledge me. Other customers where being seen to, which were MEN. Another two customers was seen to, and I asked politely, why am I not being seen. I felt uncomfortable & definitely won’t be going back.
I went to get a Premium Car Wash at Potters Bar Tesco on 02/03/2023 which I paid £7.50 for expecting to get a full clean car at the end of it. This is my first experience of Tesco’s car wash so I was extremely disappointed to see the back of my car with remains of dirt. Money not well spent and I’m not happy at all.
Id like to say Waves Wokingham are excellent, despite the negative marys here...they took great care of my Merc, very detailed inside and out at a fair price. The wax looked superb.
Waves are trying their best to increase the standard of the car washing industry and that means higher wages and better conditionsfor staff, better products, better systems and which intern lead to a higher price - thats not a bad thing. If all car washes followed ethical practices, you would not be able to get a wash for £10. Think about funding human traffickers next time you go to an unlicensed cheap side of the road car wash.
Waves Orpington. This car wash is the best in our area! Always super polite, always excellent quality clean. Looks amazing! Thank you Waves. Annie - grey mini countryman 😊
