Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.
This was my first ever visit to the Waves Car Wash at New Malden. My car was in a pretty bad state, and so I am very grateful for the fabulous job that the team did on it. They helped steer me to the right place, as I’d got that completely wrong, and were really kind and polite. My car is sparkling on the outside, and fresh inside. Thank you.
I take my car & van there regularly to North Shields Tesco car wash, but maybe this is the last time, twice the van has been cleaned to a half job, today was the final score, bumpers & skirts were still dirty, tyres hadn’t been shined. For £30 I expect the job done properly. Seemed to have changed the staff, not the usual faces. Maybe that’s the problem
I would give if 0 if i could a totally horrible e perience. I had my car washed in penarth on Thursday, after 35 minutes I picked up the car and went home. When I looked at the opposite side, wheel and back they were still dirty. I stook soapy water and it was coming off. I went back the next day and I was told I needed to go the the garage as it needed an acid wash. I spoke to the manager on the phone, he said come back the next day. When I got there he was rude, aggessive and made comments about my car being rusty, which it was not. When I said I did not agree with him and would not be using the car wash again he started to berate me telling me I had no understanding of cars. I will definitely not be using it again.

Great guy's but would never use again as they scratched the Hell out of my roof. Didn't notice it at first whilst it was wet. But as soon as it dried omg it is noticeable. It looks like they had gone side to side with grit in there sponge's. I now have to get my roof wrapped as painting it will cost to much. Honestly save your money and don't have a lazy day as I did and wash it your self. Absolute lesson learnt for me.
Trying to con people on price and acting like a bunch of thugs.
Went to get my car washed at the Wokingham Tesco site and was quoted £50 to clean an A-class inside and out. Process should have been £30 but the bloke insisted it had to be the platinum wash because the car was so dirty (it wasn’t). When I told him that if he didn’t want to do it, all he had to do was say, he tried to stare me down like I’d just spilled his pint in a pub. Straight up just trying to con people and then acting like a thug!
Went to Waves at Tesco in Bishop's Stortford today to get my son's VW Polo cleaned inside and out.
Went to collect car and was told it was £28. Checked the price list, they have four different price points for "Volume 1" to "Volume 4". £28 was the Volume 3 price, the second largest. For a VW Polo.
I asked the member of staff what size car would be a Volume 2 or 1. He replied "I don't know, you pay £28" I asked if he didn't know what a volume 2 or 1 sized vehicle was, how did he know my Polo was a Volume 3. He just replied "Pay £28".
I paid, got in the car and left. The job that had been done was average at best.
Later I took our Discovery to the hand car wash at Challenge Gym in Spellbrook. The price was £25 for it to be cleaned to a higher standard.
The only reason to use Waves is the convenience of doing your shopping while your car is being cleaned but you should do so knowing you're paying a significant premium to do so.
Tesco, Millbrook ,Southampton. Not my usual car wash but seemed handy while doing a Tesco shop. Asked "the price for an outside and inside clean. Was quoted £40! When I said "No" I was asked what I would pay. I don't do business like that because I assume you'll only get it done enough to equal your price. Went back to my usual company and had their £25 inside and out clean which was excellent. Why can't Waves have a straightford published price list? I've never been to a car wash before where haggling was required to get my car cleaned.
Affordable and amazing service! Such friendly staff, they did an amazing job on my Gold package and even put my bags in my boot for me when I came to collect my car. Couldn’t recommend more :) thank you to the staff at Waves - Tescos, Bletchley, Milton Keynes
The outside washing was ok. But the inside which was the most important for me was very bad and they haven't done what we agreed. I used to pay less than half of what I paid here in different place for the same quality. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
