Waves Car Wash has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.
The car wash and the service at Waves Tesco Bromley By bow was excellent. It's the prices that's an issue. My car wash has gone from £20. to £25 in my opinion this company is out pricing themselves. But I asked how much just to vacuum just the carpets and was told £15. that's ridiculous, it's worth £5. but £15. no way.
So for the car wash and service I would give 5 stars but their pricing would only give about 3 stars, maybe Tesco's will give the next franchise to a company that reflects their own pricing.
Tesco, Churchwood Drive
They are so good at what they do! The only downside is that they get busy & that you have a long wait - but there is a cafe, so it isn't all bad.
Shame I can't give 0 star. I went to the Waves car wash in leighton Buzzard, twice. I had a feeling they overcharged me the first time; so I double checked online and indeed I should have paid 5£ less (volume 2 instead of 3 for gold). I came back a second time and dealt with the same team who tried to overcharge me again. When I asked them to explain why this was higher than the website, their manager was visibly annoyed but he agreed to lower the asking price. When I came back to pay they kept making comments in their native tongue while talking to me, no idea what they said but it seemed hilarious to them. I won't be coming back
I had my car cleaned in dereham, Norfolk, by the guys it was the cleanest I've ever had my car looking since I brought it. I can't thank the guy's enough for the amazing job they did such great value for money , will be using them again for sure
First time using these. And last. Price on arrival was £5 more than stated on website for size of car, and advertised blue light discount was refused. So the service I was expecting for £20 ended up costing £30. Won't be back
Utterly disappointed!
I recently got my car washed at Barkingside high st Tesco (Waves).
I left my car and my keys with the Waves staff, while I went food shopping at Tesco, as they asked that they would need to move it once the car was washed. I returned, paid for it and left.
Later, I noticed that the wheels weren't washed properly there was still quite a lot of dirt. I still thought because it was dark they may have missed some areas of the wheel rim.
The shock was when I noticed that my parking card was missing out of my car. I have a tap card to park where I work. This card was in my car when I left it with Waves and missing when I returned. I am extremely upset and annoyed that Waves staff can not be trusted.
When getting your car washed.
DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR!
I won't be getting my car washed by Waves.
Waves Car Wash in Allerton Road Tesco in Liverpool have washed my A Class Mercedes and have superglued my rear badge back onto the car without my consent?! They have done a terrible job, further damaging the car's paintwork they did not make me aware of the incident. On challenging the Manager there, he was rude, aggressive and dismissive of the claim. Even saying contact the company, we are a franchise and it's my word against yours. The company have offered nothing and I am left having to pay for the repairs myself. Do not ever use these car washes!! As a franchise business, they will take no responsibility for the damage to your vehicle. Horrible experience, customer service and company.
