Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Friendly hard working staff that take great pleasure in cleaning your car to a five star service. Don't be put off by the prices, these guys are worth every penny. I've had my car cleaned before by the cheaper places you can go to but my car has never had the cleaning experience it gets at Waves, the quality is like driving your car straight out of the car showroom. I highly recommend this place.
Altrincham branch - do not bother with this branch
Altrincham branch. Rude member of staff and awful wash of the exterior of the car but I had no choice today as my normal place was closed. They didn’t even leather it down for £10. I have recently changed my vehicle. Same make but smaller model and staff member was arguing that it was classed as medium when clearly it is a small car! Never again.
Used Coventry Cannon Park waves previously. On previous visit they hoovered a part up from the car and when I queried they said it wasn't them. I asked them to empty the hoover and the part was in there! Today I was charged £40 for the cleaning of a different vehicle, one member of staff asked for that amount, yet others looked on bewildered! Will be contacting head office and franchise owner to query. I paid as had my kids with me and we were in a hurry to get to church.
Sam was really helpful and friendly in giving me the options for getting my car cleaned. My car was dirtier than he realised but the team did an incredible job getting it all clean, both inside and out. A dirty autumn with two children had left the inside almost as dirty as the outside.

I also go to Tesco shopping, while my car gets washed. It's advantage for me. It was Sunday 22nd Dec 24.
Used Waves today at Tesco Prestwich, Manchester and really wish I hadn’t bothered!
It cost me £22 and the standard of clean is awful! Usually pay £15 for a brilliant clean elsewhere but needed the convenience of Tesco.
Lady made up the price in her head, miserable people working there, Try saying hello or good afternoon to customers it’s not hard to have manners!
Won’t ever go again!

Went to the Macclesfield Waves Car Wash asked for Gold plus Volume 1. Came back with damaged paintwork at the front of my car. The staff have denied it saying it wasn't them. Well the damage wasn't there before or else I would have noticed. They said they would look into it and still have had no response. Poor customer service and a rip off. Tesco should not be providing this 3rd party service. No apologies or anything received. Just in it for the money.
