Excellent introduction to water no matter how young your baby
The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all. The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

Toria the waterbabies instructor at jethen house is absolutely amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable, supported and heard. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns you have regarding swimming with your little one is always taken into consideration and the support you didnt even know you needed is alway's given to make you feel confident and ready to swim with you baby. You can really tell the passion she has for waterbabies not only as an instructor but also as a parent who has been through it twice. Im so so glad I chose waterbabies and im so so glad we were put into Torias class.
Progressive and fun
Lessons are progressive and so much fun for me and my daughter. We have been attending since she was 12 weeks old and have no intentions to stop. The confidence gained in just 14 weeks is incredible. Lessons do tend to run late meaning we start later than expected, and this obviously will happen when dealing with children! but I have noticed that our session is occasionally cut five minutes short which is disappointing considering each session is over £20 for half hour.

The amazing water babies
Myself and my little boy have been swimming with water babies since he was 10weeks old, we can not recommend water babies enough. My little boy has recently turned 2 and he loves going to his swimming lesson each week seeing his teacher and the other children. From attending swimming lessons he has such a confidence with everything he tries. If your looking for a fabulous swimming experience with your little one water babies is the swim school your looking for the teachers are so lovely, caring and supportive. The lessons are structured so well and encouraging for the little ones and the team at office are so lovley to.

Wonderful swimming instruction
My son has been swimming since he was 3 weeks old. He adores his swimming lessons. At nearly 18 months old he is confident in the water. Our swimming instructors have been brilliant. Laura was wonderful and calm and encouraging with us both in the early days. Becky is full of energy and enthusiasm and my son can't want to see her

Awful communication and complete lack of customer service skills.
Poor communication. We had a lesson cancelled and a credit was applied to the account days later we were then sent an email stating we would now be charged for this lesson. I currently pay via DD (i was then charged through my Credit card! for this lesson) No where had I confirmed I was happy for my Card details to be stored. I had to call 3 times, send multiple emails and fb chat messages before I finally spoke to someone. I was then told this catch up lesson would take place in February and only if I couldn't attend I would get a refund. Absolutely disgusted that this has happened if the lesson isn't taking place until Feb 24 I shouldn't be charged until then. I have also had to send a follow up email today as I still haven't had confirmation of this date. Seems they are quick to take your money however the customer service is awful!

The highlight of my week
I work full time but I flex my hours just so that we can swim every week - that’s how good it is. I love the bonding experience and it really is the highlight of my week. On top of that my child is learning great safety skills and water confidence

Confident 4 year old swimmer!
My son has been at Water Babies since he was 9 months old and is about to graduate at 4. The main purpose of him having lessons was for him to be confident in the water. Mission accomplished! He loves the lessons every week and would highly recommend.

Just brilliant!
Water Babies has been absolutely fantastic for my daughter. She has really thrives under the direction of two brilliant teachers who have taken the time to get to know her. She loves her current teacher and has formed a real bond with her which has helped immensely. I’ve seen her confidence grow and the rate at which she is learning water skills, through fun and engaging lessons, is amazing! I would highly recommend water babies; an excellent company with a superb teaching programme.
