Travis Perkins Plymouth (Sutton Road) have been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help our youth theatre bring a performance to life at Totnes Castle. Matt and Mack have borne been so helpful and giving of their time and energy, Mack single handedly delivered Heras fencing up to the castle in the heat, thank you!
I realised I had made a mistake with an online order for 4 fence panel's when I received a text notification of the date of delivery. They were due for delivery from a supplier in 2 days time. Slightly stressed, about the possible cost implications if I was too late to cancel the order, I had a problem as the website contact number was incorrect. I had a call with Mark (workington Store) who put me in touch with Stuart ( Online team) who sorted it out for me. He cancelled my order with the supplier. Both were friendly, understanding, professional and quick to act. Thanks for great customer service. Lynn
Travis Perkins Rhondda are superb. I have been buying stuff here regularly for when I visit to help get my daughter’s place sorted. They have simply been great from the start. Advice on setting up an account, making it easy to order with them, helpful when I go into the branch. Friendly and accurate info always supplied. Bought from them over six times , had deliveries four times and all gone perfect. Danny, Ryan and the rest of the team, I thoroughly recommend you.
I had an urgent need for bricks and building sand, as I had my bricklayer for a few more days. I called the Canterbury branch, and Mike was invaluable; he visited the site on the same day to ensure I could obtain the correct bricks for next-day delivery, as the bricks I had ordered would have taken another week to arrive. The delivery driver was also very helpful. Best team ever.

Had a great experience hiring equipment from the Woolwich branch. We had to remove the bitumen from our floors in preparation for an underfloor heating installation and because flooring companies quoted us £1k for the job, we decided to do it ourselves. Travis Perkins had the best price for hiring a floor scabbler, so we reached out to them and the hire manager from the Woolwich branch (Luke Desborough) organised the whole thing for us at a very short notice and we had the scabbler delivered to our door within a few hours by a very friendly delivery driver. We also needed a few additional building materials and even though this wasn't his department, Luke kindly added them to the hire delivery so that we wouldn't have to pay an additional delivery fee. All in all, we were very impressed by the service we received and we'll definitely reach out again when we need to hire any tools.

Decided (or should i say the wife decided)to refurb the bathroom. We needed one box Quick Step Vinyl flooring Silk Oak dark grey to match what we already had. From internet search most places wanted £80 box plus £35 delivery and then to my surprise i saw Travis a benchmark deal £56. In the description i could not find a code number AVSPU40060 to match the flooring i had and i know Quick step do a glue down version and a plank without insulation so i wasn't sure but in the description the plank was the same size and thickness without insulation it is a different thickness. So i put the item in my trolley and another huge surprise FREE delivery. Unbelievable. So placed order on Friday received a text on Sunday from DX couriers will be delivered Monday. Still a bit hesitant, is it the right item. Arrived Monday by DX couriers, Martin the delivery driver. Exactly the right flooring. VERY HAPPY. Thank you Travis i will be looking on your website more often.

Doing some DIY and used the Luton branch. Delivery driver was great, brought the materials in and was very friendly Would say it’s small issue getting the delivery slot times on the day, so plan ahead to make sure your materials are there when needed.

would give zero if i could ordered what i required over a week ago online for a specific day,no phone call,email to say it wont be delivered they have had my money for over a week and i have had to do all the chasing-DO NOT USE no communcation from the tain branch whatso ever will be asking for a full refund and i will be going elsewere UPDATE This has now been resolved and have been promised it wont happen again going forward many thanks to Yvonne at tain branch

Checked if they had what I needed before I went - the main thing being a tarpaulin - unlike some other builders merchants in the area who had none. Website said they had some and they did. I arrived just after opening time. The person who served me was knowledgeable and helpful with that other products. Tarpaulin is super quality. Good price too. This was the Faygate branch - near Horsham.

Poor communication no clear quotation received Wanted a hire for weekend only told minimum hire two weeks AFTER several attempts to have toilet collected. Will not be using your hire service again appalling experience!
