Travis Perkins Plymouth (Sutton Road) have been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help our youth theatre bring a performance to life at Totnes Castle. Matt and Mack have borne been so helpful and giving of their time and energy, Mack single handedly delivered Heras fencing up to the castle in the heat, thank you!
I realised I had made a mistake with an online order for 4 fence panel's when I received a text notification of the date of delivery. They were due for delivery from a supplier in 2 days time. Slightly stressed, about the possible cost implications if I was too late to cancel the order, I had a problem as the website contact number was incorrect. I had a call with Mark (workington Store) who put me in touch with Stuart ( Online team) who sorted it out for me. He cancelled my order with the supplier. Both were friendly, understanding, professional and quick to act. Thanks for great customer service. Lynn
Travis Perkins Rhondda are superb. I have been buying stuff here regularly for when I visit to help get my daughter’s place sorted. They have simply been great from the start. Advice on setting up an account, making it easy to order with them, helpful when I go into the branch. Friendly and accurate info always supplied. Bought from them over six times , had deliveries four times and all gone perfect. Danny, Ryan and the rest of the team, I thoroughly recommend you.
I had an urgent need for bricks and building sand, as I had my bricklayer for a few more days. I called the Canterbury branch, and Mike was invaluable; he visited the site on the same day to ensure I could obtain the correct bricks for next-day delivery, as the bricks I had ordered would have taken another week to arrive. The delivery driver was also very helpful. Best team ever.

The most friendly and helpful staff you could meet. Went there this morning for advice on a self build shed and a gentleman called Paul was more than happy to help even in the rain. Staff inside again were lovely and very helpful and professional. Best builders merchant not just for trade but for anyone. 5*

The sarking boards on our new house and garage were supplied by TP Macduff. Mould appeared on some of the sarking boards on the house and many on the garage. As you can clearly see individual boards are affected rather than whole areas it shows that either the boards were not correctly dried or stored. I was andvised the manufacturer had some issues previously but cannot verify this. Our main contractor complained to Travis Perkins and I also contacted them. The depot manager had no interest, did not visit the site and just wanted to fob us off. The main contractor contacted the area manager of Travis Perkins who was the same and whilst he promised to visit and inspect, has not done so in the following 6 months. Clearly the fault lies either with the producer or storage by TP. No one is willing to inspect or test the mould or remove it. I would strongly recommend you use other builders merchants in the circumstances. They clearly don’t care about their customers or end users! Avoid.

Despite the website clearly stating that the local branch would be in touch to arrange delivery, no communication whatsoever was forthcoming until 3pm on the day of delivery. Most suppliers provide a 2 hour delivery window or at least an am or pm slot. but the Merthyr branch have on 3 separate occasions failed to provide delivery updates either by text or e-mail. As it is the project I was hoping to complete will now be delayed. Totally disgusted by this lack of information. Also, driver Wiktor was extremely rude upon delivery

My Wife & I called in to the The Hartlepool branch looking for ideas to refresh our patio we were greeted by the most knowledgeable sales member we could have ever wished for, after showing us available porcelain paving we went away to decide & returned within a day to place the order. Minworth branch Today we had a delivery of goods to a one of the many schools we do renovations at. This is not the first time we have had goods delivered by the same driver (Chris). Not matter what the request regarding where we want the delivery siting, if it is possible then the request is carried out without question. Chris is an absolute credit to your company and always is extremely professional and personable which is rare to find. Having dealt with other businesses who deliver good and some of the responses we have had regarding requests for goods to be dropped, i thought it only fair to drop this review and praise Chris for his exemplary attitude no matter the situation. Thanks for your help and keep up this fantastic service you deliver. Faultless and a pleasure to deal with.

My review is not on the product but on the rude delivery driver called Akbal who was 1.45hrs late from my 2hr window. Who hadn’t the manners to apologise if waited in all morning and said he was just the driver take it up with the office!!! Handed a great big hand rail to me and left me with it without saying a word to me. Rude, no manners !!!! Extremely poor delivery after paying £20 for delivery
