Travis Perkins Plymouth (Sutton Road) have been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help our youth theatre bring a performance to life at Totnes Castle. Matt and Mack have borne been so helpful and giving of their time and energy, Mack single handedly delivered Heras fencing up to the castle in the heat, thank you!
I realised I had made a mistake with an online order for 4 fence panel's when I received a text notification of the date of delivery. They were due for delivery from a supplier in 2 days time. Slightly stressed, about the possible cost implications if I was too late to cancel the order, I had a problem as the website contact number was incorrect. I had a call with Mark (workington Store) who put me in touch with Stuart ( Online team) who sorted it out for me. He cancelled my order with the supplier. Both were friendly, understanding, professional and quick to act. Thanks for great customer service. Lynn
Travis Perkins Rhondda are superb. I have been buying stuff here regularly for when I visit to help get my daughter’s place sorted. They have simply been great from the start. Advice on setting up an account, making it easy to order with them, helpful when I go into the branch. Friendly and accurate info always supplied. Bought from them over six times , had deliveries four times and all gone perfect. Danny, Ryan and the rest of the team, I thoroughly recommend you.
I had an urgent need for bricks and building sand, as I had my bricklayer for a few more days. I called the Canterbury branch, and Mike was invaluable; he visited the site on the same day to ensure I could obtain the correct bricks for next-day delivery, as the bricks I had ordered would have taken another week to arrive. The delivery driver was also very helpful. Best team ever.

If I could give 0 I would. Placed an order last week for delivery from Penrith store on Monday 5th ready for contractors to start. Monday 5th - No delivery. Promised it would be there by 3pm so contractors waited. NO delivery. Rang again to chase only to be told that it would now be Tuesday 6th and they promised faithfully it would be before 8:30am at the LATEST. STILL NO DELIVERY. Contractors now concerned they are not going to be able to meet deadline due to starting a day late so they quit the job and left site causing numerous contractors to be delayed and us as the main contractor to be dropped in the S**T from a very large height. Their false promises, failed deliveries and delay tactics has resulted in a huge delay to a project with financial consequences. Travis Perkins Penrith seems to be run by monkeys working 9-5 who actually don't give a toss about the consequences of their actions...or lack of them. I would imagine you would get a much more premium service giving your business to an independent merchant who actually cares about their customers. Avoid Travis Perkins Penrith!!!

We always get a really great level of service from TP Doncaster, especially Sarah. She always goes above and beyond to help us and is the first person our team goes to when we need items from TP. Turnaround on queries and quotes is always speedy and Sarah works with us on orders we need quickly to ensure delivery. My only issues are that when Sarah is off, we can definitely tell as we sometimes don’t get the level of expertise/service we’ve become used to. This isn’t a reflection on the rest of the team’s skill set, I think that Sarah just does such a brilliant job and the team are so busy that its sometimes harder to keep up when you’re all stacked. My only suggestion is that Sarah needs a PA! We also use Kurt from Barnsley - again, we get a great level of service and we can always rely on Kurt when we have technical queries.

I worked for years at the head office in new duston as commercial pricing manager, a role that taxed me inconceivably to the tune of about 60-70 hours each week. It nearly killed me and assailed my health every which way. Just after the referendum, i built a world class software engine for competitively tightening and synchronising our marketplace pricingbetter than every competitor -and it workedbut it was too late sadly. The plumbing and heating division was irretrievably broken and TP's shortsighted patchwork first-aid attempts to stave off self-implosion failed catasstrophically. I expected redundancy and it did indeed come, but the delivery was so poorly executed and crass and just unprofessional, i ended up being cannibalised by a competitor and was able to field corporate enquiries about licencing my bespoke software. One window shut and another opened nice and wide, thanks TP!

Extremely expensive for anything over a week. Would never use again. It’s far cheaper to buy the kit and sell at the end. We put over £50k of business with them last year, but are now dramatically expanding our supplier base as we feel that we have been taken for granted.
