Matt and Mack have borne been so helpful and giving of their time and energy, Mack single handedly delivered Heras fencing up to the castle in the heat, thank you!
I realised I had made a mistake with an online order for 4 fence panel's when I received a text notification of the date of delivery. They were due for delivery from a supplier in 2 days time. Slightly stressed, about the possible cost implications if I was too late to cancel the order, I had a problem as the website contact number was incorrect. I had a call with Mark (workington Store) who put me in touch with Stuart ( Online team) who sorted it out for me. He cancelled my order with the supplier. Both were friendly, understanding, professional and quick to act. Thanks for great customer service. Lynn
Travis Perkins Rhondda are superb. I have been buying stuff here regularly for when I visit to help get my daughter’s place sorted. They have simply been great from the start. Advice on setting up an account, making it easy to order with them, helpful when I go into the branch. Friendly and accurate info always supplied. Bought from them over six times , had deliveries four times and all gone perfect. Danny, Ryan and the rest of the team, I thoroughly recommend you.
I had an urgent need for bricks and building sand, as I had my bricklayer for a few more days.
I called the Canterbury branch, and Mike was invaluable; he visited the site on the same day to ensure I could obtain the correct bricks for next-day delivery, as the bricks I had ordered would have taken another week to arrive. The delivery driver was also very helpful. Best team ever.
Some very basic customer relations wouldn't go amiss.
Staggering lack of a polite, interested approach.
I stood at the counter, obviously wanting to pay or ask for information. After an embarassing stair and silence I was asked "you ok?"
At the same time 3 men from the yard outside busied themselves around the counter area, seemingly unaware of my presence.
Worcester branch - Exceptional customer service and puts things right when they go wrong
I used the Travis Perkins in Worcester for the first time in February, after being a long time customer of a nearby competitor, who had badly let me down with an order.
I visited in person to buy some fence panels, and was extremely pleased with the friendly and proactive service from all the staff.
I then placed an online order for delivery. I was very unhappy to discover that there had been a problem and that the delivery truck was not able to deliver.
However, within a few minutes I received a phone call from George the branch manager, who apologised for the mix up and told me that he was going to make sure that the order was delivered as promised.
Half an hour later, Steve turned up with the delivery on a new truck, and could not have been more friendly or helpful, even helping me carry the deliver to exactly were I needed it on the property.
I should note that all of this was after their normal delivery hours, as Steve had agreed to work later to get the job done.
I was left extremely impressed by both George and Steve.
It is very important to know how companies will react when things go wrong and that order certainly showed that the Worcester branch will step up and make sure that problems get solved.
The branch took a payment onto my account. They accidentally took £2,569.07 too much. The branch could not refund me, so they passed me to Midlands Credit Services to credit me back. I have now been waiting 46 days and have still not received the refund.
They are a disgusting, entitled bunch of people at Midlands Credit Services.
Travis perkins hire at Chippenham were fantastic,the guys on the counter were very friendly and informative a pleasure to do business with thank you 👏👏👏
I bought three bags of the SupaGrow Standard Topsoil Bulk Bag (600L), and at least one bag was full of glass.
I wish I could upload photos to show the volume, but every shovel had some glass in it. And not just small bits that are worn down and smooth. I'm talking about proper sharp shards. I used the topsoil to grow grass from seed but had to go across it on my hands and knees checking all the soil for glass. I have a 2-year-old child and I'm concerned about letting them play on the lawn as I know more glass will have bubbled up to the surface.
I let Travis Perkins know, and the rep said they had never heard of a case this bad before, after a quick search on Trust Pilot, it looks like others have had the same experience. That said, they did fully refund the cost of the three bags in full, but to be honest the whole experience was not great and put a big downer on what should have been an enjoyable project.

I was going to order online but wanted to see the quality of the timber decking and other timber before ordering so I went to my local Banbury store.
The staff were really helpful and informative and they gave me discount, happy days.
This is the first time I have used Travis Perkins and it won't be the last.
Lazy staff two ladies serving one customer, asked a question was told to wait which I did for 5 mins and could see this was unprofessional so left without purchasing will not be going back to Enfield retail park ever bad customer service
Fabulous customer service from a lovely young lady in the Beccles branch today. She went out of her way to help me solve my problem. I think her name was Francis, a credit to the branch.
Went to the Gastard branch to buy a building block and seek advice about wood cladding. The gentleman outside and at the counter were both friendly and helpful, suggesting where to source our particular cladding. Excellent service.
