Glass in the top soil
I bought three bags of the SupaGrow Standard Topsoil Bulk Bag (600L), and at least one bag was full of glass. I wish I could upload photos to show the volume, but every shovel had some glass in it. And not just small bits that are worn down and smooth. I'm talking about proper sharp shards. I used the topsoil to grow grass from seed but had to go across it on my hands and knees checking all the soil for glass. I have a 2-year-old child and I'm concerned about letting them play on the lawn as I know more glass will have bubbled up to the surface. I let Travis Perkins know, and the rep said they had never heard of a case this bad before, after a quick search on Trust Pilot, it looks like others have had the same experience. That said, they did fully refund the cost of the three bags in full, but to be honest the whole experience was not great and put a big downer on what should have been an enjoyable project.
