Hemos pasado por una urgencia durante un viaje a Europa de mis padres. Hasta el momento hemos recibido una muy buena atención. Personal amable y sobre todo reactivo ante situaciones de urgencia como las de nosotros.

Tuve mi segunda complicación médica en mis vacaciones (para referencia de los lectores, estoy 2 meses aprox fuera de mi país), y nuevamente me brindaron una atención rápida, con un doctor súper amable y las medicinas efectivas. Además el personal de whatsapp es muuuuy amable y responden todas mis preguntas.

El problema que tuvimos fue un esguince. Inmediatamente el seguro nos coordino médico, ecografía y fisioterapia. No nos tuvimos que preocupar de nada, y todo salió muy bien. Mi hijo ya se recuperó de la lesión. El trabajo del seguro ha sido óptimo.

In June 2021, my mom contracted Covid-19 during a trip, which was supposed to be covered by this insurance (in the insurance certificate, they write "Medical attention due to Covid: $30.000,00"). Her condition deteriorated rapidly, and CT scans and a medical evaluation revealed that it was necessary to hospitalize her immediately. Despite the severity of her condition, it was impossible to get a timely answer from the insurance company, as they insist on communicating only via WhatsApp and they always say that the case has to be evaluated by the claims department first. In the end, we had to find other means to be able to hospitalize my mom, because this company never provided any answer. If we had waited for their answer, she could have died. Now we are trying to get a refund of the incurred costs of the examinations and hospitalization, since they claim that the coverage is USD 30000. What they don't tell you (and you will only see in small print after you sign the contract) is that there are some arbitrary limits for each category: turns out that the limit for hospitalization is only 1% of the "total coverage", so actually they only cover 300 USD for hospitalization! These are some of their other limits: - Outpatient medical attention: 0.5% of "total coverage" (150 USD) - Emergencies: 1% of "total coverage" (300 USD) - Lab tests: 0.5% of "total coverage" (150 USD) - Hospitalization: 1% (300 USD) - Sanitary repatriation: 3% (900 USD) - Funeral repatriation: 3% (900 USD) Oh, and that does not even sum 100%! This is a JOKE! This insurance is a FRAUD, and all of those positive reviews are from bots. This company will run away with your money. It is better to get travel insurance with a reputable company, even if it is more expensive. Stay away from this!
