Titan Travel is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Our first Titan trip. The collection from home/return transport worked well, even though we didn't know the transport would be shared. This was not made clear on booking. The Hotel du Lac was clean and functional and not 4* in our opinion. The biggest let down was the food. We made it very clear on the booking, in the pre-trip WhatsApp group and on arrival that we are vegetarians. This appeared alien to the restaurant manager unfortunately. We ate out 3 nights as we couldn't face the pedestrian food. Italy is one of the best cuisines for non meat eaters but sadly Chef appeared to favour frozen veggie patties and tinned vegetables. Yuk. An oddity was having to order dinner at breakfast and always sit in the same place. Never experienced that before anywhere in the world. The Titan tour guide was very scatty and disorganised. She often changed group instructions/meet up points which confused people. Sadly I don't think she had ever been to the region before. She didn't know a great deal and whilst she was Italian, her command of English did not meet our expectations. On arrival at the airport, rather than a general welcome to the region and introduction to the tour, she spent the time reading from a folder telling us how much it costs to buy water at the hotel and on the bus. Each evening she would send a long cut and paste information message on WhatsApp giving details about the next day's trip. It would've been far better to have a knowledgeable guide who knows the area and who can speak about this face-to-face. Not impressed to be honest. On the day trip to Venice, she said on the bus 'well you will all know more about the place than me'?! That just about sums up the trip. She was however, kind and supportive to the elderly single passengers and provided chummy companionship. We weren't looking for that, we expected a first class Tour Manager who added value beyond the basics. We have just booked another trip later this year, a long haul trip to Africa, and we decided against Titan sorry.
I have just spoken to a marvellous man named Chandan, regarding my booking. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and talked my through all the stages to book my seat. I am extremely grateful for his help and his gentle manner.
Lisa was very efficient at booking the holiday we wanted. She promised to ring back with details and she did.

I emailed Titan with my experience but never had the courtesy of a reply. They seem to answer on this forum so here goes. After Titan cancelling our holiday in Aug 23 finally got to experience this in April 24. My email read; the feedback link does not work you asked if I would recommend to a friend the answer is a resounding NO. In fact a friend had booked this same trip in August 2024 and as a result of my WhatsApp calls showing him aspects of the trip he has cancelled. After reading reviews of this luxury trip my expectations were of luxury but we paid expensive prices for a budget trip. Feedback from our tour was not as expressed on this site. Specific feedback as follows: The hotel accommodation was below standard the rooms in Memphis were dirty, cracked sinks, skirting boards not attached and leaning against walls. Whilst the hotel in Nashville was lovely it was far too far out of downtown Nashville so very impractical. Natchez grand, my first hotel room had a revolting smell of damp I asked reception to be moved they were very gracious and did so and agreed the room smelt. The next room was lovely with the exception that the coffee machine was located in the bathroom next to the toilet. Disgusting and in violation of so many health regulations. The Sheraton in New Orleans was lovely but I had specifically requested a low room the 14th floor was not low and this couldn’t be changed as the hotel was full. So three days with the blinds closed! Jan the coach driver was excellent but the coach itself was very uncomfortable for the length of journey made which was 2000 miles. As for the local guides; in Atlanta the guide sat down at the front of the coach at the back we couldn’t hear a thing, we had no idea what she was pointing out as she gave no verbal communication as to left or right it was extremely frustrating for all of us. When we stopped at the church of Dr Martin Luther King I spoke to Debbie our tour manager and explained the issue but sadly it didn’t improve. We went into the church after the first mix up of many and during the talk we were pulled out which was very rude and very annoying especially as it was so enjoyable only to be taken to the memorial garden and given free time to wander round an exhibition, it made no sense. This local guide took us round random housing estates and gave such vague information such as somewhere over there is an apartment not sure which one which at some point Elton John used to own no real information just random waffle However her lack of professionalism was negligible compared to Carolyn in Nashville She was 90 minutes late to meet us This was due to an annual 10k run which closed off roads around Nashville. For those of us that watched the local news we were aware of this and informed Debbie the tour manager to be told not to worry they were aware. So aware that Jan couldn’t drive the coach to Studio B. Debbie had never been on this tour before so had no idea how to walk us from the coach to the tour so the whole group wandered aimlessly up and down roads trying to locate it until Jan abandoned the coach came to meet us and escorted us to the exact building the fact the gentleman in Studio B played us the Benny Hill Tune on arrival made us all laugh. As for Carolyn the very late local tour guide after sitting in a side street we eventually drove to Centenary Park to meet her. We parked outside a wonderful building an exact replica of the Parthenon in Athens where we had a convenience stop. Did we learn about this fantastic building? No we didn’t no one could tell you a thing about it we were all googling it, Carolyn spent all her time ranting about her ex-husband! Boy was she one bitter woman and certainly had issues none of which I wanted to hear. We were so behind that day that when we arrived in downtown Nashville to go to the hall of fame the fire alarm had gone off and everyone had been evacuated. Debbie handed out tickets so we could enter when it opened but as we only had a couple of hours before the coach departed back to the Opry Resort and we had not seen or experienced downtown Nashville the music or the bars a group of us opted to just go and listen to the music. Joseph in Montgomery and James in New Orleans were excellent and informative but the two women were a complete waste of my time and money. The visit to Jack Daniel’s in Lynchburg was informative but disappointing that Titan had booked the budget tour with no tasting option. We should have had the choice to upgrade if you didn’t think the money you charged was enough to cover this. Debbie the tour manager told the whole group this was a dry county so no one could have a taste this was incorrect. Graceland was another penny pinching tour the iPads didn’t work. 2 nights in Chattanooga made no sense when we didn’t get a night in Nashville and the incline railway was closed. Met great people Titan was awful
John Allen the Titan tour rep made the holiday experience great with is knowledge of the tour and is friendly approach to the group.
John Allen, our tour manager, was excellent his knowledge and past experience was a reliable source of information which enhanced our travel adventure. He provided a daily newsletter supported by a handout of the places we visited. In addition he gave us very important information about the Holland-American cruise on the Koningsdam which, as first time cruisers, was invaluable, as the ship has now gone digital even though 'a guide to cruising' was advertised but never found. The Ships information is now on line, navigator app. John was always willing and helpful in resolving any problems was arose.
Booking via telephone with Titan travel was very straightforward
Apart from incredible scenery and an amazing train journey our holiday was enhanced by our brilliant guide,John Allen. He worked tirelessly to ensure all went perfectly for our group.
Another great Titan experience with small ship cruising in Croatia, our 3rd. This one was the Adriatic Coastal Explorer on MV Amorena, with Bobby, our excellent friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The captain and crew were extremely hard working and always smiling! Being picked up from home was a wonderful start to a brilliant holiday, with a group of people who all got on well together.
I’ve just arrived back from my first Titan Travel tour - Southern Sights and Sounds which was amazing, far more than I imagined. The itinerary was full of opportunities to have a great time exploring the Deep South. The highlights for me were visiting New Orleans, Nashville and, of course, Graceland. However some of the other places along the way including Monroeville and Montgomery provided poignant reminders of the South’s role in history- a great balance of experiences. Our Tour Manager, Steve Pritchard, was brilliant and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic experience. His organisation was excellent, producing ongoing detailed information at the same as sharing his extensive knowledge of the area. He encouraged the group to explore but was always there to support and help us have fun. Thanks Steve, a holiday full of fabulous memories!
This was our 4th holiday with Tital previously travelling to Kenya, South Africa and Israel and this was by far the worst holiday we have had with you. it started at:- Heathrow airport We had been in touch via our booking agent Co-op travel Long Sutton to ensure that my husband and I were seated together due to his medical issues and an email was received back from Titan telling us to make ourselves know to the Titan rep at Heathrow Unfortunately THERE WAS NO Titan rep at Heathrow to assist. Luckily enough being a frequent traveller, I knew what to do ,so I also helped a few of the other Tital/Saga passengers check in. Hotel Grand Hermitage Hotel Room allocated 207 - I can see why this hotel is not advertised in your 2025 brochure! Tired and shabby hotel not 4 star more like 2/3 budget hotel as also used by EasyJet and Tui. Poorly equipped bathrooms with mixed tap shower over bruises caused by mixer tap as bath too narrow to have decent shower in when turning round shower curtain also stuck to you Bed broken and that hard some customers were asking for mattress toppers (only a few available and run out) Exposed wires in room lighting No bottled water available in room had to purchase at hotel or 5 min walk to St Agatha shops to purchase - was told not to drink tap water as may cause upset stomachs! Surely this is a basic requirement even in Kenya it was provided free of charge. Air con in room not working - only after 4 days was told you have to ask in reception to have is switched on in individual rooms Pool area broken sunbeds weeds and overflowing bins Breakfast standard okay however evening meals atrocious, frozen food still cold in the middle, chewy meat and over cooked fish, frozen thawed vegetables, cherries served for dessert 4 days in a row as you can guess brown and going bad by day 4. Views were amazing over the bay however only a semi view due to grotty green roof Transport 2nd day to Sorrento Bus only had 2/3 of seat belts working (issue raised by Tital/Saga Rep Nora Daghari I must add Nora was excellent and tried to sort out issues as they were raised as was Suzy at Co-op travel. I feel it was the hotel mainly that let the holiday down and the communication at Heathrow. Very disappointing holiday Titan I expected better holiday standards from your company especially considering the amount paid. PS I am still awaiting a response from emailing customer services
