The gentleman who took my call was very knowledgeable and it was very easy to book the holiday. He answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction and made the holiday booking experience a pleasure.
Our first Titan trip. The collection from home/return transport worked well, even though we didn't know the transport would be shared. This was not made clear on booking. The Hotel du Lac was clean and functional and not 4* in our opinion. The biggest let down was the food. We made it very clear on the booking, in the pre-trip WhatsApp group and on arrival that we are vegetarians. This appeared alien to the restaurant manager unfortunately. We ate out 3 nights as we couldn't face the pedestrian food. Italy is one of the best cuisines for non meat eaters but sadly Chef appeared to favour frozen veggie patties and tinned vegetables. Yuk. An oddity was having to order dinner at breakfast and always sit in the same place. Never experienced that before anywhere in the world. The Titan tour guide was very scatty and disorganised. She often changed group instructions/meet up points which confused people. Sadly I don't think she had ever been to the region before. She didn't know a great deal and whilst she was Italian, her command of English did not meet our expectations. On arrival at the airport, rather than a general welcome to the region and introduction to the tour, she spent the time reading from a folder telling us how much it costs to buy water at the hotel and on the bus. Each evening she would send a long cut and paste information message on WhatsApp giving details about the next day's trip. It would've been far better to have a knowledgeable guide who knows the area and who can speak about this face-to-face. Not impressed to be honest. On the day trip to Venice, she said on the bus 'well you will all know more about the place than me'?! That just about sums up the trip. She was however, kind and supportive to the elderly single passengers and provided chummy companionship. We weren't looking for that, we expected a first class Tour Manager who added value beyond the basics. We have just booked another trip later this year, a long haul trip to Africa, and we decided against Titan sorry.
I have just spoken to a marvellous man named Chandan, regarding my booking. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and talked my through all the stages to book my seat. I am extremely grateful for his help and his gentle manner.

Our first trip with Titian it was fantastic from the beginning well organised.good communication. Tour guide was fantastic could not do enough a great credit to the company (darren)helpful,informative ,it was our first trip with the company but won't be our last .hotels we're all of a great standard. We have no negatives to say all positives.
I have just returned from a 18 day escorted holiday with Titan Travel on the Rockies and Alaska Grand Discovery. We had an excellent tour manager Darren who looked after us throughout the holiday giving us lots of information and arranging everything for us. All the hotels were excellent with everything you needed for a comfortable stay and all in good locations, food was lovely. This was a fantastic holiday the itinerary the destinations we covered and scenery was breathtaking, I was so excited to see the brown bears, we also spent seven nights on the Holland America Cruise Ship the Ms Zaandam this was an amazing experience, thanks to Yoga and Deden for looking after my Stateroom also enjoyed the daily activities on board and the port stops were perfect for seeing everything and for purchasing some souvenirs. Definitely one of the best holidays one I won’t forget, we had a good group of fellow travellers which made the holiday extra special, loads of photos and memories of a fabulous holiday. 🤗
We had a fabulous week on MV Amorena exploring the Adriatic! Great ship with equally great Captain and crew especially Uros and Ivana who looked after all of us extremely well throughout the trip. Boze, our Tour Manager, was excellent and did his utmost to ensure that all 31 of us had a great time . Given the size of the galley the food was amazing and they were very helpful if an alternative dish was required.

The Best of Norway by Rail and Sea – To the Top of the World. I have to rate our recent Holiday as 3 Star only, however the 3 Stars represent the Titan Managed portion only. On day Five we transferred to the Havlia Cruise Ship Capella where both accommodation, food and staff were first rate and should be highlighted as 5+ Star. As Titan Holidays and tours are perceived and the UK’s prestigious operator, I was immediately concerned upon arrival as our group size was 44, (45 including the nominated Titan Tour Manager). The group sizing was completely unworkable, form Hotel Room registration ( imagine, such group queuing for Hotel lifts with luggage – most Hotels only serviced with Two Lifts). On the move Toilet breaks, Norway not being known for service stations etc… (Therefore, every change of Rail or Coach journey would inevitably require queuing for comfort breaks .. -So 45 people…. ). On two occasions because the Group was so large, the Titan Tour Manager requested additional help from members of the Group to provide “Rear Watch” to ensure the large group didn’t get split up. No Audio devices where provided so quite often instructions had to be repeated numerous times. I emphasise, the Tour Manager was only working to the pre-scheduled and large group allocated to her. Be very aware of the Titan propriety score level for “Intensity”. During the Titan Managed portion Day 1-5 very early starts and very late finishes where required, often evenings were so rushed that Hotel Registration, to Dinner allotted time would be as little as 15 mins. During the Day 1-5 period we undertook Day excursions via Coach, Rail, Ferry’s, only on arrival at Bergan and later in Trondheim were we given access to a Local Guide (1 hour for each). The Tour Manager gave overview information during these days, however, local knowledge or question/answers normally provided by “In-Region Guides” was not forthcoming. Overall, very disappointed by all elements,(Itinerary, Schedule, Tour Information & repeated Buffet Meals) provided under the Titan Tour Holiday. It was only saved by the professional approach and excellent service on the Havila Capella Cruise.
Just back from canada did the rockies and alaska cruise. It was by far the best holiday we ever had. We saw many types of wild life and the scenery was beautiful and we had the best tour guide Darren Wheatley he made sure we all had a great time .
My wife and I went on the Rockies and Alaskan Highlights tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tour manager Darren was very good and very informative, and helpful. We thought that a night on Vamcouver island would have been good to help with the experience, rather than a rushed day visit which we booked. The group were excellent and everyone got on with each other
Just been on the Rocky Mountaineer tour from Calgary to Victoria. Excellent tour journey through the clouds. Banff, Jasper, Kamloops, Vancouver and Victoria. 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer which was everything I had hoped it would be. Stunning scenery and wildlife throughout tour and our Tour Manager Mark Harris was excellent a wealth of knowledge and guided us with running commentary and allowed us to experience the essence of the stunning Rocky Mountains down to Vancouver and Victoria. Lovely hotels and coaches. Spectacular tour and hidden jems along the way.
We had a query about the holiday which was answered on the same day. When phoning to confirm this holiday everything was straightforward & efficiently dealt with.
From start to finish we were cared for. Tour manager - excellent. Guides - great. M Y Amorena - perfect. Crew - brilliant.
