Words honestly can't describe how bad …

Words honestly can't describe how bad this company is. Canceled my service because they sent me doubled up bills 3 months in a row. We paid the bills thinking maybe we missed, it happens. On the third bill I called to see what was going on. They told me that they had no record of me catching my account up even though my bank account showed how much they got. I paid the last bill and cancelled all my services that day. They wouldn't let me prorate so we had the service for another couple weeks. The day that it was supposed to be shut off my wifes water broke so needless to say I didn't call or check to confirm.. Got back from the hospital and still had service and was told there was nothing in the system about me calling to have my service cancelled so he said they would cancel it and not charge me for the time past the date that I had paid up to. Got a bill for a full month called again they said thy would wave the bill and cancel my service. This time my service was cancelled but receive another bill with a late fee. called again and was told there was no record of any bill getting waved. After telling the guy I refused to pay it and explained what had happened he said he would wave the bill.. Next month didn't get a bill I GOT A CALL FROM A COLLECTIONS AGENCY!! I called again and after a lady tried to get me to take there service back for 20 minuets I finally had enough and blew up! she said the bill and late fee would be gone I got her name for the next time in case. Luckily that was the last I'v heard from them. I REALLY HOPE NO ONE SINGS UP FOR THEM OR SPECTRUM!!! SERIOUSLY SAVE YOUR SELF THE HASSEL AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!! THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPIERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN ANY INDUSTRY!!!!

Not half bad, but deceiving at times.

Not half bad. So far their account reps have been able to accommodate my renewals of their reduced rate for their cable service. The problem is that because they market it as a promotional rate, the rate resets and goes back up to their standard rate. Also, I've discovered a bit of manipulation and "trickery" in their plans. Last year I was automatically upgraded to a higher tier of a plan, and charged a premium for this. When I called to complain, this is when they offered their promo rate (basically the same as what I was paying before). Of course I was happy with getting a faster plan at the same price as my old one, but wasn't aware that the rate would reset. When this happened again, I asked to be placed in the old plan, but they said this plan tier did not exist anymore and I was either forced to stay in the higher, more expensive plan (300gb download) or go down to the next tier (50gb). I use internet a lot so I didn't want to go down to just 1/6 of what I was getting while only saving $20/month. Sounds kinda scammy to me.

HORRIBLE!

I've put in more than a 40 hour work week between calling them & having people come here to "fix" issues-not even having service for 2 weeks! I thought things were taken care of shortly after but I wasn't so lucky, there are still problems & when calling the first line of reps, they never fully listen. The NOVEL of notes in my account is insane!!! I'm seriously about to get rid of this company & go with another just for internet, then watch regular TV through my computer-I know that company is reliable & has MUCH better customer service, hands down! All the aggravation isn't worth it...still not yet a full month with them...

The title says it all. I think the worst customer service I've ever encountered, anywhere. If they had any competition they'd be out of businesss.

Bait and switch

Promised me $300 gift card to switch to TWC when I moved last summer. I of course got busy with the move, work, and life. A few months later I noticed the gift card never came. When I called to ask about it, I was told by Customer Service and CS Management that "that promotion has expired". So, not only did I not receive the promised gift card...but I won't ever be receiving that gift card. #BaitandSwitch #Shadybusiness #oligopoly #cablecompaniessuck

Awful in every single aspect.

Terrible. They raise and hike rates without letting you know / in a terrible and sneaky way. Their customer service is literally painful, unless of course you're trying to add new or additional services. (AKA - give them more $) They frequently make mistakes in billing, and other things. They have also "dropped calls" and hung up on me numerous times while calling to cancel / downgrade services which I find completely unprofessional and should be (if it isn't already) illegal. Be prepared for the constant headaches and continual NIGHTMARE of dealing with Time Warner Cable if you decide to pay for their services. *** (They're in the process / recently sold the company to a new one called SPECTRUM. Since the "switchover" to Spectrum, I've dealt with TWC/Spectrum and the customer service, and price hikes, and increased have only gotten worse. )*** We finally reached our breaking point with TWC/Spectrum, and have switched to Frontier. Their customer service (THUS FAR) has been nothing but OUTSTANDING AND PHENOMINAL, Prices are lower, and guaranteed for THREE YEARS. We have been nothing but happy since LEAVING TIME WARNER CABLE / SPECTRUM. THEY'RE THE WORST!!!

ANYTIME I've called their customer service or gone to one of their locations, the experience has been an overwhelmingly negative one. I would switch providers if I could.

Time Warner Customer Service is DISservice!

I was a customer of TWC for 3 years. Due to rising costs and little value for the dollar, I decided to switch to DirecTV. I called TWC on 4/18/16 (the day DirecTV was installed) to request they disconnect my cable and telephone...I was keeping the internet service. 4 days after calling, I attempted to return my cable equipment to our Hermitage TWC store, but was told they couldn't take it b/c my service was still active. I called TWC again, they told me "something must have happened during the disconnect" and assured me the service would be stopped that day. I unfortunately ended up in hospital, but tried again on 4/27 to return equipment...again was told service was still active. Another call to TWC Customer Service, another promise that my issue would be handled that day. 3 days ago I received a bill from TWC for $257, which was for 4/3~5/2 and showed service still active. I called TWC on 5/28, spoke to another agent and she promised she would get the issue taken care of. Apparently, she did FINALLY get TV service d/c'd, but the bill for service that was supposed to be shut off still stands. I don't know how TWC customer service agents are trained, but when I worked customer service, we were trained to say what we were going to do, and do what we promised. This did not happen and now TWC expects $257 for service I didn't use. Not only are they unprofessional and cannot process a seemingly routine request, they are inflexible and refuse to take ownership for their mistakes. I will not pay for services I did not access, but I will file a complaint with the PA Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection. So, as a warning, beware of what TWC says they will do, because you're likely going to have to follow up many times to ensure what is requested is actually done.

When Csn They Ever Get Anythibg Right

Once again Time Warner has failed to provide any reliable service. They came out yesterday to replace my cable box for I was receiving a service error and after they left I walk into my bedroom and the TV was not working. Yes we check the living room TV and cable connection but why would they not check all the other TVs in the house when they see a splitter connected to the box. So this morning I call my audio guy and we thought we fixed it buy unplugging and plugging in all the cords for it seemed to work at the moment. Two hours later I go back in my bedroom and turn on the TV. Now not only does it not work, it won't turn off and I have a blue glow coming from my TV. In my 40's, no longer need a night light. I called Time Warner, and 5 calls later they will not be coming out until Saturday for I work in an office and I'm not available for their service calls during the week Oh and let's not mention that the following happened during the calls - when ask for the suppervisor I was hung up on and no call back - was told someone would be calling me back in 30 minutes about a service call today - never happened - after waiting an hour for my call I was told someone would be out by 7pm tonight - didn't happen - received a service call reminder for an appointment tomorrow that I never scheduled - ask to speak to the supervisor's supervisor who was not there and they said they would not call me when ask if they could - ask to have the CEO call me and was told that would not happen and if I want I can go to their website On top of that, there was no offer of any compensation initiated by anyone I spoke too. Time Warner, you should be proud of your company and the service you provide because it is nothing worth be proud of.

Bill Price

I've had issues with Time Warner Cable in the past; however, after many calls they usually fix the issue. Now they have doubled my bill and than told me it was going to rise even more for the next bill. Asked if I get a better price since I was a long term customer and was told to pretty much f*** off.

Ridiculous on package prices!

i had written a review on this on the other timewarnerondemand.net by mistake. it should have been here. so read that first. This is an update to it. To start i'm 60yrs old. Not alot of money and don't want much for the money. Called this morning because i was missing some things i should have had in new package. found out the woman didn't put things in right and it had to be redone. So in the process the package got dumped down to even less and more money a month. I even tried to go just internet and 200+ tv, but was told it would be more going that way. So i have whole home, internet, tv, starz and epix (6mths on that one) and with taxes i'm paying $171 a mth. WHAT!!! i was paying $144 prior and had everything. Don't use the phone part and my internet speed even went down. It's like i'm being punished. i think i'm going to check back into dish that i had prior. At least their stuff doesn't change. SHAME ON YOU TIME WARNER!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!

Time Warner does it RIGHT!!! They give you more than what you pay for. I didn't have any issues getting it installed and the connection is 98% of the time 6Mbs faster than what I'm paying for, always faster than what I'm paying for. I got so tired of checking my speed and seeing it below what I was paying for from AT&T. NOT WITH TIME WARNER!!!! If you use AT&T for internet they will run your TV signal over it and it slows it down so you never get what you pay for. TIME WARNER not only delivers they over deliver when it comes to internet. I'm guilty of only adding comments when I'm upset. If you read this and it helps you please consider returning and adding a comment when you're not upset. Basically, if you post a negative comment post a positive comment about another service provider.

Works well most of the time

TWC is the only internet option available in my apartment complex. It works pretty well most of the time except when I'm trying to stream movies and browse the web.
