A bit shady

They need to let you know the landlord you’re going to rent from they start as if the properties is theirs only for you to end up with horrible landlord like Amco management

Great service all round

Great service and communication, 2 attributes you need as a landlord when trusting your property to an agent. I dealt with Karen at the Prestwich branch and found her down to earth and helpful in arranging new tenants for me and good follow up communication after viewings. Also a shout out to her colleague Amanda who was equally helpful in processing the admin for the rental in a super efficient way.

Finding tenants

Throughout the process of finding new tenants for my property, I was kept informed and up to date. I was guided as to what I should be considering when selecting new tenants (this is fairly new to me). There was a steady stream of prospective renters viewing the property. Karen Filson, who dealt with my property was wonderful. She was very easy to talk to, would always return my calls and worked hard to find new tenants.

Kelly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t usually leave reviews but Kelly really deserves one. We had such a lovely experience with Kelly! She was so kind, patient and incredibly helpful throughout. She made us feel so comfortable and welcome even our baby adored her and couldn’t stop smiling whenever she was around. And that says a lot! Kelly is not only fantastic at her job but her warm personality really sets her apart. It’s clear she’s in the right profession, you can tell she truly cares. Thank you Kelly for your great service. It truly meant a lot to us.

Maisie - restored my faith! ⭐️

Last year, I left a really negative review about this company on Google. I’d had many bad experiences with poor relationship managers. Around 6 months ago my property manager changed to a lovely young lady called Maisie! From the moment she began managing my properties my entire opinion of Thornley groves has changed. I had a teams call with maisie explaining I didn’t want to have my properties managed anymore. Maisie allowed me to get everything off my chest and I was quite rude at points even if I didn’t mean to be. She then explained that she would work with me rather than against me and I just had to give her a chance. Her honesty and commitment is something her employers should be proud of. Maisie had explained to me that she cannot help me if I hold on to the past issues. But said she was willing to help rectify them mistakes. And I’m so glad she said that because I couldn’t have asked for a better property manager than her. Maisie has been a delight to develop a working relationship with, she has a way of dealing with things like she’s been in the industry for years. I was very shocked to find this is her first role in property! Maisie is polite, knowledgeable, friendly, hilarious and very trustworthy. I have noticed big change in Thornley Groves recently! When Maisie has been out of the office even her colleagues have been great helping with any emergencies which isn’t something I would have said 6 months ago. Maisie made me realise that companies can go through a rough patch, she explained to me the mangers and the team were doing everything they can to get back on track. And I can really see that’s what’s happened. Maisie has restored my faith completely. It’s great to see the company is making big improvements! Thanks so much for all you do Maisie! (My Google review has been deleted)

I went to see an apartment today in Swinton. I was met by Kelly McDermott at the entrance. What a very nice lady she is. Great tour of the property with a fantastic personality.
