Taylor Rose provided a professional service. Irushi Gunathilake and her legal assistant, Amandi Perera were responsible for our conveyancing. They regularly kept me updated throughout the process. They were excellent!
We had fantastic service from Helen Bean while buying our first family home. She worked incredibly quickly without ever missing a detail—thorough, professional, and always on the ball. Couldn’t have asked for better support through the process. Highly recommend!

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Taylor Rose throughout this process. From the outset, communication has been extremely poor. I did not have any verbal contact with a member of their team until more than two weeks after the process began. Prior to this, I was asked to provide sensitive banking information without receiving a clear explanation of the process or reassurance from their staff. The breakdown of costs had not been provided in a transparent or timely manner. The client care letter uses vague terms such as “may be” charged, which are not clear or definitive. At no point were these charges updated or made available via the Taylor Rose portal. I was also charged additional fees for an expedited four-week completion, which was not made clear from the start and was not reflected in the initial costings I was given. The initial costings were £1.9k, imagine my dismay and shock when I recieved a nearly £3k bill with additional fees and extra charges. To make matters worse, the final bill was sent to me after 5:30 pm on Thursday, 27th March, despite my earlier request during the week for the final bill. I was then required to make full payment by the next working day (Friday), ahead of a completion date set for Monday, 31st March. This gave me no time to properly review or query the costs, nor to confirm the payee bank details as required, since the bill was sent after working hours. I consider this to be extremely unacceptable and indicative of poor planning and communication. I have made two written requests for my personal and business bank details to be deleted, as is my right under GDPR legislation. It has not been confirmed as of the 15th June to be done. I personally would never do business with Taylor Rose again. Unless I want to be charged exorbitant hidden fees, poor communication and a firm that ignored my GDPR requests aswell as ignoring my complaint which was raised with the client care team in May. Such a shame!

Very happy with the service TR gave us, specifically Debbie who was brilliant throughout. She was informative, quick to respond and really helped guide us through what is typically a stressful period, relatively pain-free. She was responsive which was important for our somewhat short turnaround and really helped. I couldn’t recommend Taylor Rose more highly. Our solicitor, Joseph Denman, was fantastic. He worked very proactively, responding to our queries without delay and kept us updated throughout the process. We had some issues with our seller and Joseph went over and above to try to resolve things for us. Moving is extremely stressful and it was reassuring to have someone we felt we could trust and rely on acting on our behalf.

An excessive amount of time was spent trying to satisfy you that we had legitimate funds to buy our property. The amount of information was in our view well beyond what was legally required. We saw no end to the process and had to ask our estate agent to intervene. We were not impressed that you did not accept electronic signatures which delayed the conveyancing process as we had to submit hard copies. If you had asked for the re-examination of our finances earlier we would not have had to pay an extra fee because the time between completion and exchange was below your threshold by one day.
