This site has a one solution fits all policy to all complaints. A 3.50 voucher. Not really good enough for 30 quids worth of food binned I wont be using again.
very much enjoyed our meal but noticed there want much chicken in the dishes. overall value for money and delivered promptly.

Takeaway is a great way to order food. As simple as use the mouse you have access to dozens of restaurants where you can order your prefered food online. The offer is awesome and very easy to pay (card, cash, etc..). Moreover if the webpage and the idea is great, better is the client attention, if there are any probvlem they call you and try to arrange a different option. In summary a great option when you want to order food. In my opinion the best!!!!

Food was cold and parts were missing spoke to customer service via email and she made no effort in contacting takeaway but instead offer me 3.50 compensation.I will never be useing this rubbish again
It was really easy to order and pay, our food arrived when we expected it to and it was really tasty.
I made this order on Saturday night and funds were taken from my account. 40 mins after I had placed my order I was notified that my order had not actually been received from the restaurant and that the funds would be returned to me in 12 to 14 days. So I am left, with no money and no food and no way to order more food with the money I had allocated for my Saturday night treat. I telephoned the restaurant myself and they delivered the food – an hour and a half after I initially placed an order with takeaway.com. Fortunately my boyfriend paid. Not only is it totally unacceptable that a company can take funds from my account without supplying any service what-so-ever, but to then quote me a time frame of up to 2 weeks to get my money back is outrageous. The lady on the phone explained that it is the bank refund procedure which takes the time and that they would be processing the refund straight away. Why do you feel it is OK to take money from me before you have confirmation that the order has gone through to the food outlet. And then, if your normal process of contacting that outlet fails, do you not think it would be a good idea to try another method of contact? Maybe try picking up the phone as I did and got through straight away. Also, why on earth did it take 40 mins after my order was placed for someone to call me and give me the good news? Had you have telephoned the order through to the curry house in the first 10 mins of not being able to contact through your normal channels then I would have been none the wiser and not out of pocket by £30 for 2 weeks. The only upside being that the people I spoke to on the phone were patient and polite, but still unable to do anything to rectify the situation or be able to do anything with my suggestions of how to improve the service.....
My order took over 2 hours to arrive and when I asked the restaurant about my order the answer was so rude that in my experience in customer service I never feel so bad that I don't want to use the service anymore
Easy to use site, great to have option to put multiple same items instead of having to do the same thing twice. Shame there is no weekday % reduction - other sites offer up to 20% off order! All round good experience!
Easy to buy food on this site although I suspect that I got inferior service from the takeaway as a result of ordering this way. Food took over an hour and only came following a phone call to enquire about its arrival. The food was cold and soggy and had clearly been say around. Normally food from this takeaway is good but I'll phone direct next time!
Took over 2 hours and the order was not given to restaurant for over an hour !

Even the takeaway manager himself described takeaway.com using swear words and advised me to use Just Eat instead. As a regular consumer of takeaways, I have always found takeaway.com inefficient and problem ridden, takeaways that don't show up and very slow transmission of the order to the establishment. My advice would be to avoid takeaway.com and use an alternative service.
