This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Superfast broadband made easy.

This was such an easy transition to switch to Squirrel. Shocked how easy. It took FOUR HOURS to re-contract with Vodafone last time for broadband. They were unbelievably poor. Squirrel were such a contrast, amazing. Squirrel communicated perfectly, even rang ME to find out how it went, and it went very smoothly. I now have superfast broadband. Its epic. I love it, and I loved the experience. So shockingly easy.

Top quality service

Fibre has finally arrived in our town - through Fibre Heroes - and there is a limited list of ISPs. I was drawn to the simplicity of Squirrel's website and also their competitive pricing. I have a fairly complicated home network so needed to understand whether the Squirrel offering would be sufficiently flexible to meet my needs. Every email I sent to Squirrel was replied to within minutes with authoritative technical answers. When I called, the phone was answered within a couple of rings by someone who really understood what they were talking about. This gave me enough confidence to place an order. The booked install date was only a fortnight later with the site work all carried out by Fibre Heroes. Despite a number of setbacks, including having to dig up the neighbour's drive to clear a blocked duct, the work was completed on the day. Since then, the internet has worked perfectly with speeds as advertised. I've sent a few follow up questions by email and they've all been answered within minutes, including on a Saturday. I couldn't be happier with the service I've received so far.

Quite simply, their performance was flawless.

I have just had internet installed by this company and each aspect of their service has been brilliant. Everything about the installation went exactly as planned and the speeds they promised were fulfilled. I have a lot of devices connected and some of them were rather obstinate about recognising the router, but Daniel's technical support was perfect and he sorted out these teething troubles as well as putting right all the stupid mistakes I'd made in trying to do it myself. Quite simply, their performance was flawless.

Real People on the end of a phone

Real People on the end of a phone (or e-mail) ! Just like the old days. Prompt and patient advice was given to me ahead of ordering for both Full Fibre and Internet Phone, and this responsiveness has continued pre and post installation. Squirrel also allow total flexibility on using your own router unlike many other ISP's. This was important to me, but it is clear that they will also provide a full solution for those that wish it. I would rather pay a fair market price to a smaller provider for this kind of service than pay an artificially low introductory price to a larger provider.

Recommended!

Excellent service, from start to finish. It is important people manage their expectations with fibre to the home - especially the installation. It’s not as simple as normal broadband. Squirrel did just that. Support is ideal for me. I know more about networking etc than the average guy and Squirrel adapt their advice and jargon to meet your current knowledge. I’m now getting 900+ up and down! Very happy!

Excellent Service - Highly Recommended

Squirrel are a fantastic company with amazing customer support. They allowed me to use my own router and even helped me get things working on a Sunday night. It is nice to speak with people that are extremely knowledgeable and go above any beyond to help. I have no problem in recommending squirrel and will try and encourage my friends and neighbours to adopt their internet service. It is nice to interact with a company that provide excellent customer engagement. 10 out of 10 to Squirrel.

I'm super impressed with Squirrel

I'm super impressed with Squirrel. My experience from ordering to installation and then going live has been exceptional. I'm getting super fast speeds both over WIFI and ethernet, My WIFI with the supplied router has been very reliable and reaches farther than my old router with my previous ISP. I've emailed them a few times from ordering to installation and they respond fast and go out of there way to help with any minor issues or questions that I had. Keep up the great work Nibbles and all at Squirrel!

Very happy with the service - would recommend

Very happy with the service provided, was reticent knowing it was Gigaclear being utilised for the lines and how terrible a wrap they've got/had for installing but the installers on arrival did a good job digging and laying the cabling nearly 100m from the connection point to the house - the router could have been sent out for the same day as installation is a minor minor grumble - so we could have had connectivity instantly - but no great shakes, especially not when getting fibre to premises which was certainly #WorthWaitingFor. The service since has been spot on, download and upload speeds are fantastic, certainly wired, and wirelessly very good too....we have 1.5ft thick stone walls in places so the router and extra WiFi disc help to throw the signal around the house but wireless connectivity does suffer in places where these walls exist as barriers but I would expect that entirely just as a physical limitation (not Squirrel's fault). Customer Service is first class too - quick to respond and with good info, had a device connection issue and they adjusted the routers settings remotely and solved the problem instantly. Very happy with service and would recommend. Have gone from literally less than 5MB before Squirrel's installation and service to a super-fast 300MB and for a WFH household with 2 kids, this is more than perfect!
