This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

The best customer service I had so far…

The best customer service I had so far in the UK. No robots, real humans who are willing to help at any time. Even when I was playing "Karen", they were still very polite and did everything to solve my problem.

They are utterly brilliant

They are utterly brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. Connection is lightning quick, great support, static IP, even called Disney's tech support for me when my IP was blacklisted for VPN and sorted that out straight away. You ring support and get straight through.

Squirrel 🐿️ = The Nuts

I can only speak highly about Squirrel internet. I rang 4 out of the 6 providers and Squirrel were by far the most professional, friendly and helpful. Since that conversation, nothing has changed and they continue to impress. There was a slight issue with the install and the end finish by fibre heroes. Contacted Squirrel on a Friday evening, on Monday morning 10am it was fixed. Royal Mail then botched the delivery of the router, again Squirrel we’re on it like they were chasing an acorn. Are they the cheapest? No Is it worth paying a little bit more for quality service and an excellent product. 100% in my opinion. (Please note whilst I had a couple of issues, this was nothing to do with Squirrel, they are reliant on 3rd Parties and outside of their control)

Just had a fibre router from Squirrel

Just had a fibre router from Squirrel. Wifi coinnected easily and queried about the digital landline. The email query was answered in ten minutes - I'm happy.

Failed install, missed install - now fixed

I ordered a new fibre connection from Squirrel. Very quick and straight forward, on the day of the install the team only completed the first part, I had to constantly chase for an update getting to the point of phoning daily as the default answer was I have sent email. I appreciate they are reliant on a 3rd party, however squirrel is who I am dealing with. Finally got a date for the final part of the install, I call the day before confirming it was going ahead. This time no one turned up, no call nothing. Still no connection and no update it has been weeks. Update - Squirrel took my escalation seriously and got the installation completed- many thanks

Tremendous Service and Speedy Same day Installation

After being let down badly by another fibre supplier - (beginning with Z). Daniel and the team at Squirrel came to the rescue! Called them up in the morning, because I had my own router they were able to get me setup remotely and by 3pm I was connected! Cant beat that for service in my book! We have moved to Leominster from Surrey, and I'm pleased to say we have a better internet connection here compared to there!

Friendly, efficient company

Friendly company easily contactable by email or phone. They installed fibre on the day arranged (as expected). They do not use CGNAT so you don't share IP addresses with other customers (unlike other companies offering fibre where I live) and also assign you a fixed IP that binds to the MAC of your router (other companies charge for a fixed IP). They provide a router but do not make it compulsory to use it so I can use my existing router which is already all set up with port forwarding and firewall configuration etc. So now I'm happily running services on my own machines at home without having to get external hosting or a VPS. They speedily set up a PTR record on a Sunday morning (amazing) when I emailed. Speed is excellent and the price for 500Mbps (symmetric!) was only 64p more than EE was charging for 35Mbps; plus it was half price for 6 months. Really pleased with the service!
