This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Inward broadband & phone migration

Needed to migrate broadband & phone service away from existing provider. Squirrel gave a competitive quote (actually a bit less than the existing service), and dealt with queries efficiently. When we decided to accept, their management of the migration was exemplary - including keeping us informed at all stages. Thank you Squirrel!

Excellent installation and support

Excellent installation and support experience! Just got my 500 Mbps service installed and activated. FibreHeroes did a great job of installation, and the Squirrel support team have been awesome at answering setup questions and providing technical support with a very fast response time. I'm looking forward to using the fast connection, and relieved to have straight-talking technical support without tedious phone queues or "have you turned it off and on again" hoops to jump through.

Exemplary Service

From the initial introduction right through to present day I have been so impressed by the swiftness and accuracy of their (human) response to any questions or clarifications. They also delivered everything that they said they would, on the date they said, and then took away the repeaters that I didn't need once I'd installed a mesh system. Without so much as a quibble. Excellent service

Very poor service

Very poor service, gave assurance after assurance that they could connect me and have a fast connection. Three months later gave up after all the missed appointments and lies and blaming other services. Used another company and fully connected in two weeks, after speeds and at a much better price. Shop around before you sign up (or attempt to). So to answer’Nibbles’: The grounds work was carried out AFTER the order was placed with the ISP, not before and they took the far simpler route that had been offered to you but rejected. I had to always chase you for updates only ever speaking to Daniel, but as a small business I believe there are not many employees. The pole owners confirmed by email that you had not been provided the correct certification to use the pole, this was after I called them to confirm the appointment YOU had made with me after and I quote you β€œwe are now ready to install” as this was the third time of installation I double checked with the owners who said that the certificate had not been issued and would not be for that pole. When I called you back and presented you with this information you acted surprised and then blamed a lady at the fibre company not knowing what she was doing. More than happy to upload all the email traffic and phone calls to confirm. Let’s face it, on my install you were out of your depth. My new ISP rang me to arrange install, I explained all the previous issues, the fibre company sent out a an assessor to review, he went with my idea (the I had provided to you several times), works were completed a few days later, install date booked and all completed hassle free and as it turned out cheaper for an even faster speed.

In love with squirrel

Surely one of the top things you want from your ISP is a decent response when things aren't working. With squirrel you 100% get that. I've spoken to a human (or perhaps a talking squirrel) twice since signing up and they've been knowledgeable, helpful and even funny but bottom line sorted out my problems. First time my system needed tweaking and second was most certainly user error (who mixed up the modem switch with the Christmas lights πŸ€”?) Both times sorted perfectly. My fiance is now worried about much love I have for Nibbles the squirrel 🐿😍

Honestly this has been amazing ..

Honestly this has been amazing ... issues with the current broadband provider that could not be resolved ... and Squirrel stepped in and have given me perfect service ... I have been on chat with them a number of times as well and they have been speedy, knowledgeable and helpful. A very happy customer so far - oh yes, the speed is just wonderful
