This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

A very satisfied customer

Been a customer of Squirrel for 12 months and contacted early to start the new contract deals negotiations. After a short time I have struck a new, improved deal and I am happy. As usual, my enquiries have been dealt with efficiently and quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Squirrel Internet to everyone.

Small ISP but excellent

Very glad I moved into an area with Squirrel Internet. From the initial contact to activation things could not have gone better. Tech support have answered any questions I've had and actioned any requests literally within minutes. Down the years I have been with Demon, BT, Sky, Zen and Community Fibre. So far my experience with Squirrel is like chalk and cheese... Do squirrels like cheese?

The best customer experience

I've been a customer with Squirrel since January 2023, their customer service is top notch, any queries have been responded too within an hour, sometimes even minutes! From large outages that Squirrel have no responsibility for to router questions they've been able to answer them all. I've just emailed them about changing my contract as it's up for renewal and they've started the new pricing straight away aswell.

Happy Squirrel Internet customer

Have had squirrel fibre internet installed since 1/05/24 went for the top package and installation was as planned every one very helpful used my own router as it links a vpn to work it was so easy to setup the speed is better than promised and am well pleased would highly recommend Squirrel internet

Poor customer service and installation

Poor customer service and installation. I had similar issue with installation recently and contractors did not know what they were doing. I would describe them as snowflake contractors that were worried about breaking a nail. Called customer service left a message several times with no response. Got through one day to someone who again didnt seem to care about me cancelling the contract. Again will tell everyone in my area to avoid.

Installation a farce

Installation a farce! Made every excuse why they could not complete pre-installation work as they could not put ladders against fascia’s or over a small canopy, plus only way they would be able to complete work would be to remove neighbours fencing. Then they turned up the following day at 7am in the morning without warning to say weren’t we here yesterday and not sure why they sent us out again. Rang Squirrell and the Customer Service person was the most obnoxious person I have ever spoken to and would not listen and seemed to just want to argue. Contract cancelled and warn anyone in Kinver area to be aware of the cowboy contractors and diabolical service from this company! BT had installed a new line in the same position so health and safety is none sense. Plus at no point did I agree to move a neighbour’s fence and did not reschedule the appointment.

Squirrel are the mutts nuta

Great Internet service 500mbs with phone calls. Internet is supedfast and very reliable, we had one outage which I believe was affecting all Fibre Hero's connections. Phone service via Internet is reliable and have had absolutely no issues. I'd highly recommend Squirrel and if you look at the revues most agree with me

Probably the best company I’ve dealt with.

When I saw Gigaclear people in my road I was so excited once I found out they were putting fibre broadband in my road. I researched the providers using their service and Squirrel Internet was recommended to me. I had an issue with my installation as their was a fault on the network so my install date was missed, I had to wait a month whilst they fixed the problem, Squirrel were great and called me back and explained to me the problem. My install was great, a lovely chap travelled all the way from Bristol and was great quick and efficient. I then contacted Squirrel and got my own router working. I noticed though I had an issue with IPV6, I have leased with my router manufacture and Squirrel and they have just been fantastic, I have been speaking to them by chat and they are always responsive. And have offered me solutions. They REALLY go above and beyond, they talk to you at your level, are extremely helpful and approachable. In my personal experience, if you are thinking about joining this provider, just do it. I was with a provider renowned for its amazing customer service on my copper phone line, and IMO Squirrel puts even them to shame with the service they provide. A provider who takes actions to fix issues and gets back to you. Deserve 10 stars!

Great Installation. Unreliable Service

Installation was quick and painless, but we've had the service for about a month and already experienced two major outages. The first on April 11th which was a widespread issue, the second is still ongoing (May 4th) and is apparently localised and will not be resolved this evening. As my partner and I work from home reliable uptime is essential. I am hopeful that these are teething issues, but we will be monitoring the situation carefully to judge whether Squirrel can meet our needs in the future. ---- Edited to add: Downtime issue was resolved this morning, for which I am grateful. Communication is clear via email and sms - though out of hours was initially very abrupt - understandable in some aspects. The initial reply to our support request was merely the link to the service status page, which had not been showing downtime at the time we emailed initially and we were monitoring for information anyway. Even a very small bit ofnsovial padding (e.g. I am sorry you are experiencing issues. Please see status page for updates) would have left a more favourable impression. That said, communication today was vastly improved. I hope to be able to return in a few months and upgrade my review once I have formed a more favourable impression of reliability.
