Great Installation. Unreliable Service
Installation was quick and painless, but we've had the service for about a month and already experienced two major outages. The first on April 11th which was a widespread issue, the second is still ongoing (May 4th) and is apparently localised and will not be resolved this evening. As my partner and I work from home reliable uptime is essential. I am hopeful that these are teething issues, but we will be monitoring the situation carefully to judge whether Squirrel can meet our needs in the future. ---- Edited to add: Downtime issue was resolved this morning, for which I am grateful. Communication is clear via email and sms - though out of hours was initially very abrupt - understandable in some aspects. The initial reply to our support request was merely the link to the service status page, which had not been showing downtime at the time we emailed initially and we were monitoring for information anyway. Even a very small bit ofnsovial padding (e.g. I am sorry you are experiencing issues. Please see status page for updates) would have left a more favourable impression. That said, communication today was vastly improved. I hope to be able to return in a few months and upgrade my review once I have formed a more favourable impression of reliability.
