This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Install issues…but redeemed

My original install was missed - highly frustrating as I had taken a day off work, moved the furniture, etc. and no one arrived to install. To be fair to Squirrel the gent that dealt with me answered promptly, sorted a new install date quickly, and a week later my install took place without issue. Squirrel are very prompt answering emails, and answering the phone - a very different experience to the big boys like BT, Sky, etc. So redeemed, and a happy new customer.

Fantastic internet for a very good price

The cable and wall box were done within 2 weeks. Communication was excellent, and the router came the next day. The phone number was ported a week later when our old provider was disconnected. We overlapped for a week just to make sure Squirrel was good enough. It certainly has been, speeds are always round about 600. The old provider used openreach and speeds were about 12 times slower and cost more. We had one outage for an hour or so but this was a national issue involving all cable companies using fibre heroes, and the squirrel website had lots of updates. If you phone or email they reply instantly and are very knowledgeable.I have no hesitation in recommending Squirrel, I wish we’d got them sooner.

Great experience from start to finish

Great experience from start to finish. Offering speeds the main provider cannot get anywhere near. The customer service is top tier every time - immediately through to a real person with no bot frustration and always easy to converse. Just renewed for a 2nd package, no need to consider anywhere else.

A great broadband provider

Fantastic speeds and service. Being away from the UK’s core OpenReach network, I find the speeds to be more reliable and consistent that I’m always receiving the speeds that I pay for. I really like the QR code to register new devices onto the network. Customer services I use via messenger and is very responsive and polite. Always a pleasure to contact Squirrel Broadband. Keep up the great service!

Excellent service

I’ve just had my broadband and landline moved to Squirrel, and I’m very happy with the whole experience. Their support people are easy to get hold of and respond quickly. I had some questions before ordering, to which I got detailed answers. The installation was simple, and I am getting around 145Mb/s in both directions on a 150Mb/s nominal contract. This compares with 15Mb down and 5Mb up on my old FTTC connection. The phone number transfer happened on schedule too. And I’m paying about £18 per month less. I can strongly recommend the company.

Very responsive and helpful service provider

We have now been with Squirrel for 2 years and have just renewed with them. We renewed because they have provided an excellent service, good value, and the added bonus of a UK based and responsive support team.

I have just switched to Squirrel…

I have just switched to Squirrel Internet. I had a small issue with my connection and rang for assistance. The call was answered immediately, and the issue was speedily and efficient sorted out. What a breath of fresh air this company is. Keep it up Squirrel. Brilliant customer service.

Fast Internet and great customer service

I'm so impressed with the Internet speed and the customer service.. Literally speak to a helpful person when you ring with no waiting time or silly recorded messages. I got a fantastic deal through uswitch some cashback too, the contract is only 18 months unlike typical 24. I had to switch as I'm working from home more often than I did before, so old broadband was too slow and too expensive to upgrade, since joining I've been having online meetings, kids playing online, Mrs watching online tv, not a single issue. Never heard of Squirrel before so I'm proud to have found this hidden gem and wish them all the very best.

I couldn’t be more sick of Squirrel if…

I couldn’t be more sick of Squirrel if I tried. I’ve spent half an hour trying to get the internet to work upstairs. Ok, they fixed the previous phone problem that we had after months of trouble (thank you) but the internet - no difference at all. And we are paying for this. My screen is informing me that there has been an advanced user setting changed on my router - all I have done is switched off and on again! My experience would advise you to avoid Squirrel at all costs. I regret the day I ever signed up.

Responsive support and great service!

We have been with Squirrel Internet for 6 months. Any problems we have encountered have been sorted within an hour. Harrison normally responds within minutes to any question. It is pretty amazing customer service!
