I've been booking my flights with Southall Travel for over 20 years now, and they've always delivered great service. This time, I worked with Norman, and I have to say – he was absolutely brilliant. I had quite a few changes and back&forth with my travel plans, but ahndled well. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Norman & team.
Vandana is an excellent travel Consultant. She has always dealt with our requests in a very prompt, timely and most effective way. She has always been polite and understanding of our flexibility in booking tickets. She is an absolute asset to the Southall team well done well Vandana.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Southall Travel regarding a trip I booked with them back in November. I informed them within the next couple of months that I would have to cancel. I paid £1000 deposit and did not get a penny back for it they were very unprofessional when I asked them to help me out in someway for me to use the deposit on another flight but they were asking for a ridiculous amount of money on top. I chose this company based on their reputation for excellent customer service and well-planned itenary. I suggest you handle complaints from customers better and offer appropriate solutions!
Overall my experience with Southall travel was highly unsatisfactory I expected a much higher level of service given the reputation and price point of your Agency.
My Mum had to go to India and one of the biggest hassles was booking a flight. I suggested Southall travel as their advert came up on TV. She made the call and told the dates of travel. Now she spoke to a very nice gentleman called Hardik. I found some things truly amazing. He got my Mum on a flight where check in was around 5 pm UK time, the flight was at 2030 and arrived around 10 am India time so my Mum had a great night's sleep beforehand. My Mum told Hardik that she had a range of medical conditions. He booked assisted travel so when we arrived at the airport we went to assisted travel. The assisted travel people wheeled my Mum to check in with her luggage and then upstairs to security. I then went back to assisted travel to thank them and asked them to book my Mum in for her return. I then found out that Southall travel- and I am assuming that Hardik did it- had already done the job for me.
However, consider this. We got the train from Wigan to Birmingham international and arrived around 4 pm. We had plenty of time so Hardik took into account the travel to Birmingham. That made life so much easier. When my Mum came back, she arrived around 5pm and I booked her into a hotel and we came back the following day. Clearly, he responded very well to my Mum telling him I would be coming to pick her up from the airport. Clearly, he took into consideration the time of travel
This is clearly first-class service in every way.
So, the usual questions.
Would we use them again? Absolutely.
Are they worth the money? Absolutely- good value at 10 times the price.
would I recommend them to anyone else. All day every day. My understanding is that Southall travel specialises in flights to India and so if that is where you are travelling to, I'd give them a call today.
Give them a call and I promise you that you'll be shaken but not stirred.

AVOID AT ALL COST. DO NOT USE. OVERPRICED & AFTER PAYMENT NO SUPPORT + POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Harvey was helpful initially but rest of the business doesn't care and just want to charge you as much as possible
