We have used Setfords on a number of occasions for selling properties. Anna Nuttall and the team made the whole process very easy. We were updated frequently and any queries we had were swiftly answered. Just a very easy and pleasant process overall.

Been professional throughout and completely transparent. Also, the response times to reply to emails is excellent.
Was initially disappointed that the whole starter pack needed to be printed out, signed and posted back. I did everything in 2 hours, and posted a file an inch thick the same day. Paid £1000 just to open the file. Rang at the end of the following day to check they had received it OK, but it turns out she doesn't work Thursdays. Never received any confirmation of receipt of all of the documents. Rang to check in a week later, turns out she didn't work Tuesday either. Was told that my case was being dropped and they cannot divulge the reasons why. I wonder how long they would have left it if I didn't call up. Still I have no correspondence to say they will no longer act for me. Disappointed that there was no online portal, no acknowledgements or updates and absolutely devastated that I have lost another week and wasted my time with a conveyancer who can't take the job on. I have been told my deposit will be refunded minus their ID check fees, but it's not clear how much I have lost and right now I'm still out of pocket.

Jessica was extremely helpful and replied promptly, always let me know if she was on leave and who to contact in her absence. Although the process was long and drawn out, I felt updated at all times and everything was looked into properly for me which enabled a smooth exchange and completion on the same day.

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had with a solicitor as possible. The solicitor allocated to me Farrah Khalid, accepted my litigation case I paid for her services paid for the council advice based on her recommendation all to the tune of £6,000. But throughout the process had to constantly chase and chase her for even a simple reply. Finally, she completely stopped replying for no good reason, the complaints procedure is just as worse as they take up to 8 weeks to investigate by that time who knows what has happened with my case. Something that could have taken 3 months at best has taken 9 months with no end in sight.

Caroline was superb from start to finish. Being a first-time buyer Caroline made the process as simple as possible, as well as rapid responses which all parties massively helped me achieve my requested completion date which was super quick. I couldn't recommend highly enough!
