I never had much faith in estate agents.... then I met Wes Collins and he changed all that. From the moment I contacted him about a property he was selling, right through to him selling our own home, his expertise, support and dedication was superb. There was no overselling or ego boosting, just well researched information and years of experience.
Wes genuinely cares about the homes he sells and their owners. He was always there at the end of the phone with advice or just a bit of moral support no matter what time of day or night.
Wes works on his own, so he knows your home and he is the one to pass this on to potential buyers and I believe that made our sale so easy. You get a personal service at a fantastic price.
Our survey came back with a few issues and Wes was right there with us, guiding and even recommending tradesmen, which we have used and now recommed to others. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
We are now in a fabulous home which was undoubtedly down to Wes. A superstar in our eyes.
After several bad experiences with estate agents in the past, both buying and selling properties, Wes and Sell My Home made the purchase of a property much easier than I thought possible.
My previous experience has always been that estate agents tell you what you want to hear or are even outright dishonest (to the point of telling us that the conveyancers were wrong and they were right), as all they care about is getting the sale to go through and doing as little as possible.
Wes, on the other hand, was very communicative, very helpful, and completely upfront about everything.
His knowledge and expertise, as well as his close communication with other parties such as the seller’s solicitor and my own, helped ensure a quick and easy purchase, and resolutions to a couple of issues picked up in the survey.
After moving in, Wes has still remained very helpful in providing numbers for recommended tradesmen and professionals, communication with the seller when information was needed etc.
Wes is not only a true professional but a genuinely nice guy who is clearly passionate about his job and ensuring his clients are happy.

We decided to use Sell My Home after reading the wonderful reviews on Trustpilot. I was somewhat sceptical at first because (a) we had never used an online estate agent before, and (b) the reviews seemed almost too good to be true (97% excellent!).
We chose the pay up front option, which wasn't the cheapest compared to other online agents, but was still a huge saving on the traditional commission-based model.
From the moment I picked up the phone, every experience I had with SMH was positive. The registration was easy, the photography was excellent, and customer service second-to-none.
After our house want up for sale on the Thursday, we had several viewings on the Saturday, and had accepted an offer on the Monday.
Unfortunately, our buyers had a change of circumstance and pulled out of the sale 2 months later. Another 30+ viewings and 6 months later, we have finally moved into our new house.
I can't praise Harry enough for all of his hard work in getting us over the line. He was always there providing support and guiding us through the process. His effort and commitment to helping us get the sale couldn't have been greater. He's a credit to SMH and his profession. I owe that man a beer!
All in all, I can't recommend SMH enough. They are offer an excellent product at a very competitive price, but what makes the real difference is the people. Whoever you deal with is friendly and professional, and they all seem genuinely aligned in doing the best for their customers.

Faultless, I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Harry’s expertise, diligence and commitment were second to none. He sold my home in 3 weeks for the asking price in a difficult market. Although I paid up front, Sellmyhome’s motivation and personal service could not have been improved.
Their model works well because they focus on the quality of the property’s on line presence, I had offers from more than half of the people who viewed my house. My experience of high street agents is that they send a lot of people round but few who are actually very interested.
Sell my home appears to be a small but experienced and highly motivated team. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

As a buyer, Sellmyhome are poor to deal with. They almost refused to send me a Home report & why should I sign up to their website just to be able to ask a question about the property? Their reps have never seen the property & have no idea of the location, so there is no point talking to them. As a buyer, I would in future avoid any house advertised with them.

I had heard about online estate agents before with mixed reviews and when it came to sell my house I decided to check them out for myself. Obviously the reduced cost is the biggest draw but I was worried that may mean a lack of standards/ local knowledge/personal service etc. I approached a couple of agents with initial enquiries and found them slow off the mark and slow to reply to emails. However, I had a completely different experience with Sell My Home. Having contacted them on a Saturday evening I was completely surprised and impressed to get an immediate response from Tom Hardcastle answering all my queries and following it up with a telephone call the next day. Tom continued to answer all my queries and assigned me a personal account manager Laura Anderson to manage my house sale. Laura was just as impressive as Tom, showing excellent knowledge of the current market and trends, plus local knowledge from online sales. Laura gave sound advice throughout and was incredibly patient with my anxious phone calls after viewings. She chased people for feedback and, once I had secured the offer, managed the whole process and chain for me until exchange and completion, chasing estate agents, solicitors and giving me regular updates. Laura truly is amazing at her job! The standard of service was way above a high street estate agent but the most important thing for me was that everyone I spoke to at Sell My Home were friendly, genuine and trustworthy. I have always hated the money grabbing duplicitous nature of estate agents but these guys are certainly a different breed. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. SellMyHome is an estate agent from the future. I haven't come across a company so switched on to the possibilities of online communication and tech, whilst being so friendly, professional and efficient. Based on experience with other estate agents they can only be a perfected EstateAgent 2.0 from some future utopia.
We wasted four months working with a local, "traditional" high street estate agent (Reeds Rains) before looking around for an alternative who would actually help us sell our house. Reeds Rains were abysmal - not proactive, limited in their marketing possibilities and plain lazy when it came to thinking of ways to attract viewers.
We were no better off at the start of the four months than at the end and they made no attempt to keep our business when we chose to move on. In fact, one party that SellMyHome brought to us had been trying to book a viewing with Reeds Rains but could never get through.
The reviews of SellMyHome were excellent and very attractive - in fact, a little too good to be true. I can confirm that they aren't. Everyone we dealt with - and, in particular, our Account Manager, Anna Willis - was outstanding: friendly, helpful, proactive, efficient and effective.
In three weeks with SellMyHome we had three viewings (from people in a position to buy), offers from two parties (one on the day of their first viewing) and one house sold.
Their listings are well laid out, portal system (used to book viewings, manage offers etc.) is excellent and the 3D house walkthrough is really cool (and actually useful).
I can't recommend them highly enough.

My first foray into "on line" estate agents and a I am delighted. Excellent value and a first class service. The staff always kept in touch and were very efficient and supportive.
The photographer was very professional and the "for sale" sign was erected as requested. The online booking system for viewings worked well for us and they always called me to discuss feedback and confirm the viewings. The regular and informed communication was really helpful and I was impressed with the quality of the staff.
I thought the fees where very reasonable as we took advantage of a discount at the time.
I have no reservations in recommending this organisation and would use them again.

I sold my house in Wales with Sell My Home. It was first experience of selling and wasn’t sure what to expect from an online agent but I did my research first and Sell My Home was rated very highly. My sale completed this week and I cannot rate the service I received highly enough. I was assigned an account manager and very rarely spoke to anyone else but when I did always found them to be helpful and efficient. The online appointment booking is simple to use and once a buyer has been found they keep in touch with all parties to make sure everything goes smoothly.
As a first time buyer the whole process can be quite daunting. But sell my home we’re incredibly helpful. They were always easy to get hold of and very efficient throughout. I was expecting them to be removed from the process as an online estate agent, however Anna was incredibly helpful and even helped me to chase solicitors so that I could move in on time.
I would highly recommend them to everyone!
