I had heard about online estate agents before with mixed reviews and when it came to sell my house I decided to check them out for myself. Obviously the reduced cost is the biggest draw but I was worried that may mean a lack of standards/ local knowledge/personal service etc. I approached a couple of agents with initial enquiries and found them slow off the mark and slow to reply to emails. However, I had a completely different experience with Sell My Home. Having contacted them on a Saturday evening I was completely surprised and impressed to get an immediate response from Tom Hardcastle answering all my queries and following it up with a telephone call the next day. Tom continued to answer all my queries and assigned me a personal account manager Laura Anderson to manage my house sale. Laura was just as impressive as Tom, showing excellent knowledge of the current market and trends, plus local knowledge from online sales. Laura gave sound advice throughout and was incredibly patient with my anxious phone calls after viewings. She chased people for feedback and, once I had secured the offer, managed the whole process and chain for me until exchange and completion, chasing estate agents, solicitors and giving me regular updates. Laura truly is amazing at her job! The standard of service was way above a high street estate agent but the most important thing for me was that everyone I spoke to at Sell My Home were friendly, genuine and trustworthy. I have always hated the money grabbing duplicitous nature of estate agents but these guys are certainly a different breed. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. They really are fantastic plus I saved thousands in commission on my sale! Sarah from Kent.
