SellMyHome is an estate agent from the future. I haven't come across a company so switched on to the possibilities of online communication and tech, whilst being so friendly, professional and efficient. Based on experience with other estate agents they can only be a perfected EstateAgent 2.0 from some future utopia. We wasted four months working with a local, "traditional" high street estate agent (Reeds Rains) before looking around for an alternative who would actually help us sell our house. Reeds Rains were abysmal - not proactive, limited in their marketing possibilities and plain lazy when it came to thinking of ways to attract viewers. We were no better off at the start of the four months than at the end and they made no attempt to keep our business when we chose to move on. In fact, one party that SellMyHome brought to us had been trying to book a viewing with Reeds Rains but could never get through. The reviews of SellMyHome were excellent and very attractive - in fact, a little too good to be true. I can confirm that they aren't. Everyone we dealt with - and, in particular, our Account Manager, Anna Willis - was outstanding: friendly, helpful, proactive, efficient and effective. In three weeks with SellMyHome we had three viewings (from people in a position to buy), offers from two parties (one on the day of their first viewing) and one house sold. Their listings are well laid out, portal system (used to book viewings, manage offers etc.) is excellent and the 3D house walkthrough is really cool (and actually useful). I can't recommend them highly enough.
