Rightmove has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and customer service.
Right move is set up to sell financial services (like mortgage products) and promote estate agencies that pay for additional promotion. Registration is painful, taking 5 mins to wade through their security protocols

I would give minus stars if possible. Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill". I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland??? Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.

Well what can I say. When I found out Van Mildert were referencing for my new property I naturally went to the reviews as I do with everything. I was really nervous when I read some of the reviews but I needn't have been. This team were professional from the outset. They do not try to sell you anything, as some of the reviews say. They ask at the start in the reference form if you'd like a quote and you choose yes or no, nothing is ever forced upon tenants. I wanted an insurance quote for my new property and was delighted with the quote. I spoke with them a few times and each time we got nothing but professionalism from them, very polite and courteous. The process was very quick and painless. I can't speak for anyone else but we are very happy with this service. Thanks Guys Love Margaret & Russell G

Slow and tedious, felt like I was managing the employees the amount of times my letting agency and I had to chase Van Mildert up about things. A process that was meant to take 3-5 working days took 10! We're obviously happy to have moved in now and customer service was good but the delays were frustrating. However, I do understand from the other reviews on here that not everyone had this experience.
