Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill".
I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland???
Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.
Repeated requests for the same information. Very poor communication. Employment reference sent several times and still they sent further requests for it. I wonder if anyone communicates with each other??
Extremely frustrating process which added stress to an already stressful time. After a week of being continually βfobbed offβ by staff the manager dealt with my complaint in an efficient and speedy manner, just a shame the rest of the staff are not as diligent. Overall- very unimpressed. Interesting to read that the previous review seems to mention exactly the same issues!!
Literally the worst Communication from any form of business ever. provided all information requested instantly some even 5 times over, end up chasing them up for hours on hold and no replies to emails, using not just our time but also our employers with silly reference checks for 5th and 6th time. The worst part is we know we will pass everything after providing credit reports, contracts, payslips, bank details, national insurance numbers, letters from employers and landlords and still no movement (way too overboard).
terrible search facility
why offer the option to search for detached houses only when that search brings up semi's terraced houses and bungalows?
Your search facility needs replacing with one that reflects the needs of the house buyer in 2021
Came through to us as our (rent guarantee) policy was coming up for renewal. Told us that they were now part of RightMove. Told us the new (improved) T&C's and the premium. Very quick, very simple, very clear. Probably the same people working from the same offices as last year; just as polite, just as efficient.
I have previously held the rent protection policy, for a number of years with Van Mildert, who have been excellent.
I now understand that Van Mildert have been taken over by Rightmove Landlord and Tenant Services Ltd. I feel that contacting Rightmove, has been a frustrating experience, trying to get hold of them. I only hope that there will be an improvement in their service to landlords.
Thanks to right move for the help given to my brother in law by Paul in the utilities department and Megan in the insurance department for helping the transition from his house to his flat to do smoothly.
