Rightmove has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and customer service.
Right move is set up to sell financial services (like mortgage products) and promote estate agencies that pay for additional promotion. Registration is painful, taking 5 mins to wade through their security protocols

I would give minus stars if possible. Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill". I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland??? Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.

Got in touch with Rightmove to suggest improvement and Chelsea helpfully came back not long after to say she'd forwarded my comments on to the development team for consideration. Rightmove is my favourite property portal. Hopefully they'll take on board my suggestion about adding an extra maximum price bracket in the future.

I was asked to be my sonβs guarantor - I sent proof that I had immediate access to Β£25000 and Β£21000 other income but they decided I was too poor to be his guarantor! Not only did he lose his flat they took Β£250 for their services! Do not be tempted to act as a sponsor unless youβre mega wealthy! I own my own home with no mortgage, have savings and guaranteed income and sent proof. I have complained but havenβt heard back in 2 weeks

Need to have more criterias to choose from. I find your platform very hard to use. Needs to be more flexible. For example. 1)When I search for a house to buy, I would like the option to exclude holiday homes 2) When I search for a house, I would like the option to exclude mobile homes. 3) When I rent I would like the option to choose properties that would allow pets. Force estate agents to stipulate this rather than wasting allot of time searching. Rigtmove - You need to think outside the box so that people can have better experience using your plateform.

Waste of time . Most are student accommodations and the others don't respond. Why can't I put a application into right move and they actually help me get a place to live so I'm not wasting my time writing to people that never respond. I'm a good tenant that pays his way with no problems and yet I can't get somewhere to live because I have a dog that is better than a student and quieter and cleaner. People are really heartless.

Absolutely fantastic experience, all queries and / or problems were resolved in a very timely manner. First time using Rightmove. Working with Alice to prepare my references has been both efficient and overall enjoyable. She was extremely helpful and understanding throughout the entire process and I couldn't ask for better help. I had difficulty crossing the reference hurdle (for a new tenancy) as my financial proof of savings came from a reputable bank with account criteria that was not commonplace. Also, the bank had erred in setting up my accounts on-line ... they had not linked my accounts on-line so it took extra care and intelligence on the part of the RightMove assessor to understand the documentation (which was issued quarterly, not monthly). I was lucky that Lewis Henderson was managing my application file. He understood the documentation met the criteria but he needed to shepherd that information thru the RightMove Referencing "boxes". Without Lewis, I doubt my application would have been successful. Huge credit goes to Lewis Henderson!
