I would give minus stars if possible. Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill". I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland??? Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.

Utter rubbish!

Property we have for sale only appears if you type in the specific postcode. Searching by village/town name not working. Utterly useless when agents and buyers are relying on it.

I recently applied for a rental…

I recently applied for a rental property through Rightmove and had a highly disappointing experience. Despite my stable and substantial base salary, my application was rejected due to the financial status of the company I work forβ€”a factor that has no bearing on my personal income or ability to pay rent. The application process was frustrating, with irrelevant criteria being used to assess my suitability as a tenant. Additionally, the company's verification methods were inadequate. They attempted to verify my income through means that were not relevant to my situation, such as checking the net asset worth of my employer and failing to recognize the legitimacy of my income documentation. Their refusal to proceed with my application was based on these flawed checks. To make matters worse, despite this unfair decision, there has been no proactive communication regarding the refund of my holding deposit. This experience has left me feeling dissatisfied and undervalued as a potential tenant. I hope Rightmove reviews their application process and criteria to avoid similar issues for other applicants in the future. Clearer guidelines and more relevant assessment methods would improve the overall experience.

I want to appreciate the entire staff at Mills Knight for being a great team. They are responsive, understanding and professional. We have rented house in the past through agent and regretted it. I would say they stand out. Don't change and keep it up.
