Debbie Harrop is an angel. It has taken my local council 16 weeks to reply to my last email declaring that they cannot help me! Alternatively, Debbie usually replies to emails by return with useful and positive advice. It makes an enormous difference when someone makes the customer feel like they matter and Debbie does this in bucket loads. If Debbie Harrop worked for me, I’d double her salary just to keep her. Well done Pure Utilities!

Spoke to Debbie Clarkson today as a new Pure Utilities customer. She had a very friendly but efficient style. She went through data protection to identify me and then updated my phone and email numbers which had been incorrect. She then talk me through the process of a call back to look at direct debits and discounts and who would be contacting me. Perfect service.

Debbie explained all that I needed to know before starting to discuss the account - monitored calls and data protection, even updated an out of date email address. I had received an email saying the bill had not been paid, she was very helpful and could see that the payment was due to be paid today.

I spoke to Debbie Clarkson at Customer Services and another person in Sales: both explained why I had suddenly incurred charges that I had not been told about by my landlord, and which I had not hitherto had to pay in the years I had owned our holiday hut before July 2023. They were exceptionally clear, patient and courteous in all their answers. I had thought the requests for money were part of an elaborate scam, so I was reassured by their explanations and decided to pay my outstanding bill as a consequence.
