We booked the Princess Premier Package…

We booked the Princess Premier Package and for 2 days now they've blocked my stepsons medallion insisting he can only buy non alcoholic drinks. He's 28 years old!! The ship is tired and a lot smaller cabins than other cruiselines we've used. Spent more time at guest services than enjoying the actual cruise

policy problem

The cruise experience itself was actually pretty good. The problem I have with them is a policy issue. My fiancee works for an airline and is able to get travel discounts, which she used to book the cruise. After booking I was looking at the Princess website and realized they offer a military/veterans onboard credit. As a vet I thought this was great. I went through the verification process and waited for my credit to be applied. And waited, and waited. I decided to call customer service to see why the credit hadn't been applied. I was told because my fiancee booked with her discount that I wasn't entitled to the veteran's credit. I'm not sure what one has to do with the other, but I hope Princess addresses this in the future.

Poor security majestic

I'm so surprised to a company like princess has so many issues with customer safety, with insecure rooms, witnessed customers being attacked infront of staff, two other incidents that almost led to attacks in front of staff who in the staff words "didn't want to involve security as the head gets angry" which i can 100% relate to with his dismissive and confrontational attitude when we tried to reported our concerns with not locking rooms, the green unlocked light stays on even when you are out of sight of your cabin, allowing anyone behind you to enter your room without your knowledge, apparently not a problem from the head of ship security (you won't be covered on insurance) repeated entertainment and menu if on for over a week, dirty plates and napkins left on buffet tables, not to mention the movement sensor light in the cabin that comes on if you go to the bathroom at night and lights the whole room without being able to turn it off.

Princess cruise line is the best

I have been on 3 different Princess ships: Royal, Regal and Sky, sailed on them all more than once. We have also sailed on many other lines and Princess by far suit ys best. Beautiful ships and fantastic service. Another 4 cruises booked with them - can’t wait!

First time with Sky Princess

First time with Sky Princess, just got back from 2 week cruise - wow what an amazing holiday & experience, ship was outstanding - exceeded our expectations, staff were so friendly & helpful 24/7 - Room was lovely and spacious, food was really lovely, entertainment was not as much as we thought but even so was really good. only grip we seemed to be the only ones without on board credit :-( we paid full cost for trip so that was a bit disappointing - overall we are already looking to book nect cruise with Sky LOVED THE SHIP & HOLIDAY

4 Previous Princess cruises, there won't be a 5th

Had 4 previous Princess cruises, really looking forward to delicious food, which is always a given Gosh, what a let down. 3 MDR's basically all identical serving very poor quality food, which is always cold due to very slow service. Eventually we decided to eat in Buffet, very good food, always hot ,but we wanted to be served at a table, not eat in a cafeteria because that's actually what Buffet is. On Formal nights, many finely dressed passengers wandering up and down selecting food. Surely this would have had management wondering ?. DJ and cafeteria ,not an obvious combination We ate in Rudi's catch, one of the Speciality restaurants, beautiful and a reminder of Princess pre covid. But it costs £60.00. Shouldn't need to. Cabin was lovely. Ship seemed over busy, difficult to find seating during poor weather

First time cruising.

We are just on our way home from 2 weeks in the Mediterranean. It’s our first cruise and we have been blown away with how amazing it is. The staff on board are wonderful and go above and beyond to help everyone on board. So glad I didn’t read the negative reviews before! We have already booked our next cruise for 2025. Five star luxury and the itinerary was amazing.

Let down by very poor Customer Service

We have a Norway and Iceland Cruise booked for July. We have sailed with Princess before and had a lovely time but I doubt we would book again. The app, that they make such a fuss over, will not let us book any dining. An error message just keeps coming up, that no-one seems to know what it is. We have tried online chat numerous times, phoned customer services in the Philippines 3 times and emailed but have had no response or success it getting it rectified. Although this is only a dining problem it just wouldn't give me the confidence, that if any thing significant did go wrong, that there would be anyone to speak to, who could be bothered to help and sort it out. So I think this will be our last cruise with Princess

NOT ACCEPTABLE

Princess Cruise have cancelled our dining reservations ten days before sailing. We made these reservations ten weeks ago. Our chosen dining times are no longer available. Quite appalling level of service. I note 75% of reviewers have given Princess 1 star, that says it all.

Very poor customer service post cruise

Very poor customer service post cruise. I have had money debited from my bank card which does not match with my final medallion bill. They have taken 2 lots of money, one that matches the final bill and a second of £157 which I have no idea about. I rang customer services and they provided a telephone number that deals post cruise. Needless to say the number is not recognised. I have messaged on instagram but still waiting on a response 3 days later. Absolute jokers 🤬

Probably the worst in the industry to answer questions on anything

Probably the worst in the industry to get an answer or help from customer service. You are kept waiting for a very long time, put on hold in the blink of an eye and NEVER get answers from anyone. I had an issue and was told I would get a email response from them within 3-5 days. It has been two weeks. Don’t sail with them. If you have issues, forget it. You will never hear from them.

Formal dress code with ball caps and shorts?

We are currently on board of Sky Princess and extremely disappointed with the way administrators of the restaurant interpreting the Dress Code that clear defined in the pre-cruise recommendations. For Smart Casual: Guest attire should be in keeping with what they would wear to a nice restaurant at home. Skirts/dresses, slacks, blouses, and sweaters for women. Pants and collared or dress shirts for men. Pool or beach attire, shorts, ball caps or jeans with fraying and/or holes are not welcomed in the dining room. Shoes must be worn. For the Formal Nights: Evening gown, cocktail dress or elegant pant suit for women. Tuxedo, dark suit or dinner jacket and slacks for men. Unfortunately the administration allow people to come in ball caps and shorts even in Formal Nights. On our complaints they said that the company management do not allow them to stop people to come even if they are in breach of the dress code. One of the Administrators on my complaint said that he only can ask them to take off the caps. I said - Ok. He goes to their table but even without asking turned around and goes back... Another time I said to the Administrator that I actually want to stand up and go out rather than sit near person in shorts... I have spoken to many people on board and all of them filling uncomfortable with this interpretation of the dress code. It is not comfortable to sit in your tuxedo when near people sitting in shorts or ball caps. Company management should decide - either they enforce the rules or they should discard them completely. Next time we will think twice before make a booking for Princess cruise. I believe other people feel the same.

What a shame

What a shame probably one of the best cruse we ever been on was ruined by the cabin and Vibrations in our cabin we tried stuffing towels round light fittings lamps e c t customer service try to sort but couldn’t we paid extra for two upgraded rooms both the same we would of been better in a inside cabin and saving the money if only princes had moved us this would of been 5 star as the ship was clean food was good staff helpful weather good and stops stunning we have done cruises with all of the other company’s and come back on sky princes as the first time was amazing this time let down because of poor accommodation even though we had a mini suite so we have had amazing time with not much sleep !!!
