Porta Delivery

Was expecting delivery in about a week,as had put flexible time date,next day delivery was possible but seller was not present,so did get next day which was faster than other couriers,good price,item was dropped off in condition I bought it,realy good service,hope business go well.

This was the easiest arrangement of furniture removal I've ever had in my life. It took me 5 minutes to click on a couple of links fill in a little bit of information and voila it was sorted! The guys who came to remove the very, very heavy and awkward three to four seater sofa bed had great communication were very respectful and carried out the delivery to perfection. I cannot praise my experience anymore than I already have. Thank you very much 😍

I booked a collection of a large TV between 8am and 1pm. Everything seemed fine on the day with the driver messaging me that they will give me an ETA 60 minutes before collection. However I received no contact later and decided to message the driver. Turns out he was not aware it was a morning collection and he was miles away. I contacted Porta who did their best to help but they could not meet the morning collection. They managed to collect the TV later in the afternoon but it was a lot of back and forth between myself, driver and Porta. First time using the service not sure I will not be using it again as lack of confidence with collection process undermimes the service. A fixed date and time costs more than flexible so I really think this should be honoured. Overall disappointed with the service with significant unnecessary stress caused.

This is a great company and I would totally recommend it. It's cheaper than competitors with good customer service. I was kept up to date with text messages throughout the collection and delivery schedule, and the driver was polite, professional and very helpful. Will definitely use again as my first choice.

I arranged a multi drop collection/delivery this week, originally a flexible day booking which I was absolutely fine about. However, when I contacted the driver I had been assigned asking him what day/time would he be doing the job. He replied he would let me know within 24 hours, he didn't contact me, so after 24 hours I contacted him again he said it would be the next day between 2 and 4. As the first pick up would be from a shop that would be open until 5 pm I agreed with this instruction. I informed the shop that the driver would pick up between 2 and 4. I messaged the driver in the morning asking if he was still ok with the timings, no reply, so at 3.30 I phoned him, no answer. Approx 15 minutes later he messaged me, I asked if all was still ok for the agreed timings and I was told he would be late and now between 5pm and 7pm as he was approx 50 miles from my pick up address. I told him again that the pick up was shop hours and closing at 5pm so that wouldn't be any good. I then contacted the shop to let them know, that the driver wouldn't now be coming that afternoon, they were very annoyed with me as they had moved the sofa, wardrobe and table out to the front of the shop ready and would now have to move it all back again. In closing of this review the drivers incompetence not only ruined our plans he also put more heavy lifting on to the staff at the shop and made me look incompetent. Thank goodness I found someone the next day who communicated well, arrived on time and was absolutely lovely, he collected and delivered everything for us efficiently and in a friendly manner. Fabulous communication. Clear instructions of what was required. From me and what they deliver. Courier at both ends was fabulous. Would 100% use again and advise anyone who requires a courier to use this company. Nothing but praise for all aspect of the uplift and delivery.

If I could rate more than 5 Stars, I would! Porta is 10/10 in every aspect from booking to job completion, Found them via a Google search and wow. The delivery drivers genuinely care about the company and want to provide the best service which is always a good sign and something you don't see often. From start to finish, no faults, easy and well priced.

A great service whereby your flexibility can secure a great price. The delivery was when expected. I would’ve preferred a little more notice than being 30 mins away given we gave an option of 4 days. However they kept me updated on timings and delivered the package immediately. I will definitely use again and recommend to others

Well organised transaction. A simple website questionaire to made things easy to organise a rapid despatch. I organised a large item to be taken from Sheffield to Romford . 3 days later it was collected and arrived at my customers property within 6 hours at a fair price too. Im delighted as is my customer so i will definately be employing these guys again to deliver my items . A special thanks to the driver/s that got my item to its destination safey and in one piece.

The communication was excellent, I was messaged with my booking confirmation, when my driver was allocated to me and their contact details, photos were taken on collection and drop off of my goods. I used Porta twice so far. In the first instance, I had some issues with the courier, but Porta was exceptionally helpful in sorting out the issue, so I had to give them a second chance. Second time - it was absolutely brilliant. Their fantastic courier partner was super communicative, helpful and careful with our furniture. I'd definitely use Porta again.

Jordan who collected and picked up our very heavy console table (135kg) was polite and professional. Nothing seemed too much trouble. He helped my Partner and I get it into the house and in the perfect position in our hallway.
