Fantastic communication, updates ahead of the move and clear instructions on what was needed ahead, during and after the move. Payment was very easy too. Having been let down by Shipley who quoted one price then tripled it once I had bought the eBay item, they gave a really good competitive price, were good on informing date and then time of collection, if any small criticism they were not too hot on delivery time so hanging around but for the service not a huge problem. The item was delivered and put where asked and would be very happy to use again.

website was easy to navigate and very helpful to be able to ring a person and confirm any doubts e.g. pricing, category to put an object in. The driver is able to contact both collection and delivery making the process seamless. Happened very fast just 2 days even though flexible times chosen.

Great easy process, quick delivery and super affordable!

Superb service but bear with me. My 'job' was first accepted by someone who is best described as flaky - slow to respond to efforts to contact, unwilling to give firm details and then failed to appear for collection and sited delivery as 8 days later! I contacted Porta who couldn't have been better - sorted a new courier and collection/ delivery that suited me within literal minutes of my contacting them. My partner has also used their services numerous times with zero problems (it seems I was initially unlucky with the individual who accepted the job, not with Porta). Posting this to highlight that even when presented with a problem outside their company, Porta can be relied on to literally deliver. Highly recommended.

I used this platform to book a delivery for two sofas and an armchair, and the process was smooth. The site made it easy to list the job and receive an appointed delivery driver already traveling my way, making it a cost-effective and efficient option. Communication with the chosen delivery partner was generally good, though the pickup was delayed by a couple of hours due to traffic. That said, the delivery team was friendly, quick, and handled everything with care. Despite the minor timing issues, the overall experience was positive, and I’d use Porta Delivery again.

Just the solution I was looking for. Porta provided a seamless and affordable way to collect items that traditional courier companies couldn't or wouldn't handle. I think I've found my new go-to delivery service.
