PODS Moving & Storage Reviews

Terrible customer service. Contracts that aren't dated but use dates to secure discounts - how can customers know the terms of the contract if they aren't included in the contract. Pods equipment burst a hydraulic line on my brand new, less than 2 hour old concrete and ruined it. They offerd zero help in cleaning the oil, zero environmental responsibility for dealing with the spilt oil, and zero responsibility in repairing the concrete. Pods is a terrible company. My case is still open and unresolved after over a month.

I was given an estimate and paid in full. Then given two secondary bills that were not included in the original estimate (over $500) . Then it took a week and a half for the empty pod to be removed. I would never use again or recommend.

They did great and the drivers were professional and excellent. I’ll definitely be using them in the future.

Timely and efficient service. Communication as timely and thorough. The drivers followed all instructions and called ahead. The drivers who dropped off and picked up the POD were professional and personable. Excellent service all the way around. I would definitely use again.

You guys completely dropped the ball on the drop off of the POD. Driver no call / no showed. Had to work with customer service to rescehedule delivery and then had to reschedule my loading crew.

It was easy to reserve a POD unit and I believe that I received a fair price. Make sure to ask about available discounts. The phone representative very helpful and courteous. However. I was taken by surprise when the driver who dropped off the POD told me that he could not place the POD in my backyard as the phone representative had assured me. Instead he said he had to place it on the street. Make sure that you check your city ordinance on storage unit placement on the city street as I was yet taken by surprise again when the city inspector sent me a notice in the mail. PODS may advise you however you still need to check with the city yourself. Overall, my experience with PODS was great and I would certainly call on their service again.

Great communication via phone. F/U delivery, transport, pickup plans carried out as agreed upon. No snags at all in use of two large containers.

Delayed 2 times after a guaranteed delivery date, awful experience getting it delivered and multiple issues after packed.

My expectations of PODs was very hi. They hit on all of them (scheduling, pick up, transport, delivery). Any possible issue was resolved even at the drivers. They made choices that made sense for both PODs and the customer.

On time, good customer service if you have changes, keep good communication, very happy staff at all levels. They know what customer service is.

Easy to get the move done

Great customer and professional service

Everything was EXCELLENT!!!!! I highly recommend PODS service.

We did an across the country move and PODS helped make it happen. I honestly was surprised at how few of my crystal pieces were broken! Great job PODS! Also so user friendly no guessing or assumptions communication was awesome! From delivery, move and redelivery it all went just as I requested.

Responsive, on-time reasonably priced Our 3rd time using PODS and all has been great.

PODS is renowned for changing a contract's terms AFTER they have your possessions. Truly there should be a federal investigation. This happened to us and about 3,300 former customers on the FB group "PODS storage needs to be stopped". We also found out they DO NOT DELIVER EVERYWHERE, so only if they have a nearby location, will delivery occur. We were told our possessions would be delivered four hours drive away from our new home. It was on us to handle the last leg of the journey. AVOID PODS.

The final pick up was seamless. I asked if they needed me to move the car out of the driveway. Driver said no they were able to pick it up and get it out. Thank you. Good job.

From start to finish, I had a wonderful experience with PODs. Every employee I worked with was extremely friendly. The timing was perfect. The container was clean. Very impressed overall.

Pods did a good job for me. They dropped off the PODs as planned and picked them up on time. It was easy working with PODs and their staff. I thought the charges were a little high but that may be the industry average. Overall I was happy PODs.

They quoted me storage for “plenty of space” for the items I had and on the day of our movers right away said we needed more. They said pods frequently does this so you feel obligated to order for them for the additional storage since you already are spending a lot of money. Then when it came to delivery they said they couldn’t deliver on the day it would arrive because it’s required to go to a storage warehouse. They said all three pods would come the day after I move into my house. Come to find out one wasn’t even scheduled for transit for my long distance move so I wouldn’t have a third of my items until a week after I moved into my house. No one told me this when they confirmed all three would be arriving and continued to make excuses. One pod arrived damaged and there was rat feces all over our items. The issue is still not resolved when they guaranteed a solution within the week. Awful experience.
