Return stolen by company
I had a mixer returned to them in April. Still chasing getting it back almost 3 months later. No replies canβt get through to customer service etc on phone and no email replies. They have basically stolen the mixer on me.
PMT Online is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and fast delivery, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

I ordered an electric guitar on 28.05.25. It was supposed to be delivered on 30.05.25 but it was not. When I contacted the company, they told me that they would ship it again, it's been almost a month but I still haven't received my order. I will complain to #citizensadvice.org.uk, I want my money back. Don't order from here, they don't care.
I emailed about an electronic drum kit I was thinking of buying, I got emailed back by a really helpful guy, Jacob. I got the drum kit and itβs an amazing investment. I absolutely love it.

Amazing foldaway piano at a great price, excellent quality. This makes playing music so accessible. And it has headphones, so i can practice in privacy (and doesnt drive my husband mad). All communications with the comoany were good and timely. Well done PMT

WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! Disregard for Consumer Rights and Terrible Customer Service I am writing this review to warn any potential customers about my appalling experience with PMT Online. If you value your consumer rights and expect basic customer service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. I purchased a condenser microphone from them online. Within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period (as mandated by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 in the UK), I decided to return the item. Crucially, I had only opened the box to inspect the microphone, as I am legally entitled to do, much like you would in a physical store. The item was not extensively used, damaged, or rendered unhygienic. To my shock, PMT Online refused the refund. Their justification was that microphones fall under an exemption (Regulation 28) due to health and hygiene reasons once the package is opened, claiming this applies "regardless of how they are used." This is a blatant misinterpretation and misapplication of consumer law. As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (specifically Regulation 34(9)), consumers have the right to handle goods to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Furthermore, the hygiene exemption (Regulation 28(3)(a)) applies to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons. A condenser microphone, which is typically used at a distance from the mouth and is cleanable, does not inherently become "unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons" simply by being unboxed and inspected. Their policy attempting to overrule this statutory right is unacceptable. Despite my clear and factual communication, citing the relevant consumer regulations and explaining that the microphone was only inspected, They've doubled down and are now claiming a microphone is "used inside the mouth" (what?). I have now been forced to initiate a chargeback with my bank to recover my funds. This entire ordeal has caused unnecessary stress and wasted a significant amount of my time. This company demonstrates a severe lack of respect for consumer rights and provides abysmal customer service. Save yourself the headache and choose a retailer who understands and respects the law. You have been warned.
