An incredibly slow and painful process. They do not reply to emails, I have to call and wait on hold every time I want to move things on. Their portal is like a throwback to 2005, entirely unituative and unprofessional. Update: One day before exchange, I was informed that they had not completed the required anti-money laundering checks despite having had the paperwork for several months. They also had not sent through all the paperwork that required signing. They then had the gall to tell the buyer's agent that the delay was all down to me!

I would recommend PLS solicitors. The app was fairly good to keep you updated early on , a little redundant when dealing with email made more sense. It wasn’t the quickest process overall, but largely out of PLS’ control as we had a third party involved.

Used PLS for our house sale. Seems like a very well-run operation. We were assigned a single contact who we communicated with throughout the process. Thanks to our case handler Sean Hibbert for his help, replying quickly to any of our queries etc. Everything went smoothly and our case progressed at a good speed. Also, the price seems pretty good. Overall, 5* experience with PLS Solicitors and Sean Hibbert.

Terrible- DO NOT USE. It took weeks for them to call me back. I kept getting told they would ring at specific times and they did not. I was transferred to multiple departments and nobody has any idea about my case and who I should be speaking to. There is no system to speak to the management team directly- only via call back. However, they don't call back when asked. Due to these issues I have provided with a manager to oversee the work on the solicitor. I was told they would oversee all exchanges and be copied into all emails. This manager then left the company and I was not informed (again!!). I was provided with a contract with multiple missing documents. I had to tell them what was missing (I am first time buyer and have very minimal understanding of contracts etc). I was given a hundred pounds of my bill for 'good will'. Months of unnecessary stress and delays. DO NOT USE
