Amazing work

To begin, we were advised to engage the services of PLS Solicitors. Initially, I had some reservations about the entirely online nature of the process. However, my concerns were unfounded as it proved to be remarkably straightforward. There was no requirement to visit any physical offices for the purpose of signing documentation, and the entire process could be conveniently completed at my leisure. I would wholeheartedly recommend PLS to anyone seeking legal assistance. A special acknowledgment to Ellie Hamer's team for their exceptional support and assistance throughout the process.

Highly recommended

Highly recommended Thomas booth team couldn’t have done enough for us. They were very accommodating for all our questions and extremely quick to respond to emails and phone calls and always got us an answer asap and went above and beyond to be able to help us when we changed to part exchange. Could not recommend

Could not recommend. They are giving quote for less money and afterwards ended up with double of the quotation. They charged me for the NHBC registration as well without informing me. Not recommend any more.

Poor Communication, rushed and messy completion

Poor communication throughout If I asked questions they would reply with questions, online tracker system was not kept updated. Really messy and rushed exchange and completion, date for which was not discussed and agreed with us. Sent over the funds for completion only to have two further figures sent through on the day of completion to send. Didn’t complete until 5pm by which time it was too late to get the keys to our property. Felt like they were working for the people we were buying a house from rather than us.

Pls solicitors have been excellent

Pls solicitors have been excellent. I have gotten excellent service from them and would not use anybody else. They are efficient and provide excellent customer service. I was nervous about the process because I was buying a house for the first time on my own, but PLS solicitors took it step by step and explained each stage in detail. I can't thank them enough; if you want solicitors who will get you your house in a timely manner, go with these people.

Pretty Poor Experience

Did not have the best experience with PLS. As a FTB I was unsure on the conveyancing process but throughout the duration I felt communication was poor and was left in the dark on my progress. I brought a new build and often times the developer knew more than me which leads me to think they favored the developers interests more. The online App/Portal was buggy and was frustrating to use to upload and review any documents. Multiple times I emailed various queries and what I needed to do next but either had a late response or no response at all. More could have been done to help resolve my queries and I felt like a deer in headlights in all honesty. It took over a month to start my searches (past my original reservation date expiry), and when I finally received my report it was wrong. It seems they just used a copy and paste template on other plots at the development and never bothered to tailor to my property. This delayed exchanging contracts and as a result I felt very rushed towards the end to exchange and complete in time (Exchanged contracts within a day of the anticipated completion date). The only saving grace is when I finally had enough and started calling to escalate, I had good customer service from Connor (James Hayes Team) who took ownership of the situation and was able to help complete in time. (This is the only reason I gave two stars rather then one) Overall I wouldn't use them again and have learnt getting a good solicitor is key for a House Purchase!
