PLS Solicitors are a great team! They helped me with the process of buying a house through shared ownership. They answered promptly to all my queries and made the process smoothly. As shared ownership might be a little bit difficult to understand, they send all the necessary documents and information in time.

I emailed a complaint on June 14th and still have not got a response! Left us completely confused and stressed out the whole time. Every time I called, they told me different information. Really unhappy with their services and would not recommend to anyone buying a property!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am shocked at the amount of positive reviews for PLS. The communication has been awful and like trying to get blood of out a stone. We are on the brink of losing the house sale and this is solely down to shocking communication and service of our solicitor at PLS. The stress this has caused me is like nothing I have experience. I would never, ever recommend them or use them again.

I am writing this review because I am so appalled at the way we have been treated throughout the process of our house purchase in 2022. The purchase has been handled by PLS Solicitors. From day 1, nobody seemed to know what they were doing, nobody could answer questions and professionalism is non existent. Several months ago I asked why we had not received our Land Title Registry and was told the Land Registry office was backlogged 2 years. Our neighbours have all received theirs even though they moved in after us. I emailed again and received a message today that "points had to be dealt with to satisfy the requisition"??? I called to ask about this because I didn't understand what that meant. I was getting somewhat frustrated that she could not explain and she turned it back around to Land registry being the problem. She told me not to shout at her (I was not shouting by any means), just getting frustrated. I was promptly hung up on. This was a cash purchase with no mortgage, there should be no issues. This is not the first time a "representative" has hung up on me from PLS. Never happened to me before in my life so I am appalled. Her name is Lucy. I was in the service business for 30 years and if I had hung up on a client I would have been sacked on the spot. Having to get the builder involved now as nobody will help us at PLS. Save yourself the time, effort and agony by not using this unprofessional company.

If you want to be stressed to your teeth hire PLS. All members of the team are young, inexperienced, dismissive , they don’t reply emails properly, they ignore your requests, they don’t have legal knowledge, I had to explain various times to my solicitor that only signed documents are legally binding. I wonder if they ever read all my emails and I have to ask for help for the complain department twice. It was an easy cash buyer , no chain, no mortgage , no lenders purchase, it took 7 months and an immense amount of daily stress and about 3 - 4 hours a day to write emails requesting the same documents only to be constantly ignored. it took 3 months for my allocated solicitor, ( I am not allowed to mention his name ) to get hold of the property leasehold agreement, despite daily emails requesting it, he went on annual leave on the week of completion without previous warning us even though there was loads to be solved, we had to explain constantly to different people on the department the particularities of the case and we never ever had a concise legal advice. You will not get solicitor's advice, they only tick boxes and they take long long time to do it. Stay away . It should be closed down .
