Exceptional
Great service from Sian and the new homes team. After 25 years and over 12 as a director in new homes I used Sian for a private investment matter. The service was exceptional and was great to see first hand how new homes customers use the portal. Fantastic throughout highly recommended

Hidden charges/ not a personal service
The original quote for conveyancing was cheaper than other solicitors but on completion there were other charges that I was not made aware of in the beginning. Had to speak to too many people during the process who were not aware of my case. I also feel they did not send out necessary documents for me to sign effectively and on time. Could have saved myself a lot in postage if they had sent documents out together. I had to do a lot of the chasing up to progress my case. If I was buying again I would not use an online firm. The process was not personal and as a 1st time buyer you need to feel your solicitor is dealing with you personally for reassurance.

It is not advisable to engage with PLS due to several reasons. They exhibit a lack of responsiveness in reading emails and updating clients on the progress of their mortgage processes. Their overall approach is characterized by a lack of urgency and attention to detail, which can lead to complications and delays. Additionally, they have a tendency to add unexpected charges to the agreed-upon costs. Despite raising concerns, issues often remain unresolved, indicating a lack of commitment to client satisfaction. Their services are not client-centric, and their unreliability and slow pace of work can be frustrating. Based on my personal experience, I would recommend seeking alternative options for mortgage services. They deserve 0 star rating or none at all. RUN and don't look back!!! They deserve to be sued!

Overall Good Experience
On the whole, the process was relatively straightforward. My partner and I felt on certain occasions we were trying to chase them rather than PLS getting in touch to provide details. We also found that they had numerous members of staff working on our case meaning key information was either misplaced or forgotten about however this was quickly resolved. Towards the end of our moving process they were clear, precise and aided us through the final stages of our completion. So overall, we would recommend using them and thank them for their support and service with our house move.
