Pelican Water

Great System. Gives me a Great Level of confidence, that my family is drinking non Chem Water.

i ordered two of these systems for two different houses. The first one that came I ordered the carbon filter and the fluoride filter. I specically asked the sales rep if I need a 48 hour soak on both filters or just the one carbon filter. He said just the one and that the fluoride filter doesnt require it. I had plumbers come and do the whole thing and the water tasted terrible because the fluoride filter hadn't been pre-soaked which is required. I got bad information from the sales guy. Disappointing. that said, the water tastes great and looks great! I would recommend the filter, just make sure you read the directions and dont rely on sales guy. My other house, the package came broken and had to be returned.

Great products .. have me the shower filters they work great no loss of water pressure.. we have had them for almost 3 yrs only have to replace the filter every 9 mons.

Even though I've no Pelican water system, all of a sudden I see charges in my credit card and a shipment that I did not order or authorize from Pelican which prompted me to cancel my credit card and therefore messed up a whole lot of established auto pay for other services from other vendors. I am still trying to know how did you guys got a hold of my credit card information!

I will do more biz with pelican and I recommend them with neither hesitation nor reservation------great company --- great products!

I DON'T LIKE..

The product looks better than I expected. It is easy to install and works just like it is advertised. My hair and skin are soft and no longer get dried out from the shower. I highly recommend this product.

I have only used this for 2 days, so I can't really comment too much, but do like the force of the jets in the hand held sprayer. The installation was easy. And from the directions, it appears that changing the filter will be a snap. For convenience and accuracy of use of filter, I signed up for the auto ship of a new filter every 6 months. So far, excellent. Now let's hope it keeps my blonde hair a bright, buttery blonde.

Water quality improved, but shower head is leaking even though I tightened it.

I love this product. The water is better filtered than with our old "salt filtered" system. The only problem was with installation. Our plumber had difficulty due to the pipe configuration for the old system. He came back to repair a leak once. I noticed the sinks, tubs, and toilets do not collect hard water stains/deposits and stay cleaner longer. It's convenient, too, not to have an RO system in the kitchen. We can use the space under the sink that the RO system occupied, and taking water straight from the faucet is much easier.

I love my Pelican Whole House Water System! Here it is again hot summertime and I DO NOT have a chlorine rash this year. After five years of doctors being unable to diagnose or successfully treat my mystery rash, I am now symptom free this summer after installing the Pelican filtration and softening system at the city water inlet for my house. I suspected chlorine might be causing my problems so I installed a Pelican Shower Filter and used filtered water for drinking, cooking, washing dishes and brushing my teeth. When my rash, cough, and breathing improved; I installed the Whole House Water System. It is well worth the approximately $3,000 I spent to purchase and install the Pelican system! Not only am I healthier (no more debilitating rash that itches clear to the bone and my cough and breathing have dramatically improved); I no longer have to pay all those high doctor bills; or buy all those expensive drugs and shots that did not help; or continue with the numerous blood tests, biopsy and exams. About 98% of municipal water treatment facilities now use chlorine as their disinfectant of choice, and about 200 million U.S. residents receive chlorinated water. The amount of chlorine added to the water is increased as water temperature rises, which helps explain why my difficulties began in the summers and finally cleared up in the fall months each year. I realize that most people do not have an issue with chlorine. For those of us who do, I believe a whole house water filtration system is mandatory. My research indicated that Pelican offers the best available. Pelican Systems are offered several places which include: Pelican.com, Amazon, and Home Depot. They also have well water treatment systems. Primary respiratory exposure is from chlorine gas which is released from running water and the hotter the water, the higher the gasification. Skin rashes, sometimes called swimmers rash, are caused by both breathing the chlorine gas and by contact with chlorinated water; and are considered to be “irritant dermatitis” rather than an allergy. A study presented at the 51st Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine recommended that “swimmers utilize pools where the chlorine concentration of the water is kept below 0.5 PPM. They point out that recommended chlorine level for disinfecting private pools can be as high as 2.0 PPM.” My local water board has just increased the Maximum Residual Disinfection Level Goal from 3 PPM to 4 PPM for Chlorine. Since my problems began when the maximum chlorine level was three parts per million, I am feeling especially thankful for my Pelican System! Thank You Pelican!

i had a plummer come in a install the system. he said that buying the install connection part was the best choice and he would recommend doing this to other potential customers.. so far the system is performing great and my wife loves it.
