Fantastic experience for conveyancing and mortgage advise.

We used Ocean for conveyancing and mortgage advise. Conveyancing: Really excellent service throughout by Linda and her team. Everything sorted as quickly as possible and dealt really well with the sellers solicitors who were causing headaches. Howla website kept us up to date, as did emails and phone calls. Never had to chase once. Really impressed. Mortgage Advise: Again excellent service, this time by Luigi. Friendly and happy to chat through all the details with you. Found us a great deal, and regularly checked for rate changes to save us money. All around excellent.

We used both mortgage broker and…

We used both mortgage broker and conveyancing from recommendation. Unfortunately the broker wasn't very interesting in thinking outside the box which we required, so paid to go elsewhere and got very quick, simple result we wanted despite ocean saying we had exhausted all avenues. We were already locked in with Ocean Property Lawyers and alarm bells started ringing as we saw others complaining about them in online forums. The process was slow, we were asked for duplicate things multiple times as if they were getting lost. We also would be asked for things as the solicitor was going out of office for holidays. We don't begrudge the leave, it was the poor communication - our agent had to get involved to put a rocket up them in the end. We have now completed - 7 month since instruction.
