Also je twijfelt over het boeken vandit hotel, do het dan vooral niet! Personeel is onaardig en onbehulpzaam, vanaf het moment van inchecken tot uitchecken is iedereen chagrijnig l, helpen ze je niet en zoiets als klantvriendelijkheid bestaat binnen dit hotel niet. Het krijgen van een antwoord op elke simpele of moeilijke vraag is moeilijker dan een kruisverhoor. Je wordt ofwel doelloos aangestaard of krijgt het antwoord weet ik niet. Als je vriendelijkheid of behulpzaamheid van de medewerkers verwacht zou ik het elders bij een ander hotel zoeken, in dit hotel hebben ze daar nog niet van gehoord. Muv: Jannice de agua gym docent, Yodi de buggybestuurder en het meisje met krullen aan de poolbar. Die drie zijn de enige goede medewerkers. Daarnaast zijn ze overal understaffed en zijn er altijd lange rijen. Vaak houdt het personeel een praatje met elkaar ipv jou te helpen. Het hotel is zeker geen 5 sterren waard. Het concept kruisbesmetting is dit hotel onbekend. Alles (vlees, vis, groenten) wordt op dezelfde bakplaat gebakken. Op mijn braag of de pasta vegetarisch is kreeg ik letterlijk het antwoord; “ja, het is vegetarisch er zit alleen bacon in”. Het buffet is elke dag min of meer hetzelfde. De salades en gesneden fruit zijn niet vers.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – Mis-sold, Unsafe, and Completely Deceptive We booked this holiday expecting a five-star, ultra-exclusive, all-inclusive escape as sold by Mitsi. What we arrived to was genuinely one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. We left after six nights of a planned 14-night stay — and even that felt too long. This place is not even close to five-star. In fact, I’d struggle to call it three-star. The level of neglect, filth, and misrepresentation is astounding. What you need to know: ZERO RESOLUTION FROM MANAGEMENT Firstly, we spoke to management — but no solution or rectification was made. We were offered the completely useless suggestion of “speaking to the chef”, with the ridiculous suggestion he would cook for us separately - if you saw the “buffet” you’d know how ridiculous this is! We were also promised beach towels would be delivered to our room, which never materialised we didn’t check out until 24 hours later: It felt like they were just trying to pacify complaints without any intention of actually resolving anything. FILTHY & UNHYGIENIC: Pools covered in algae, filthy cushions, and communal areas that haven’t been deep-cleaned in what feels like years. Flies constantly swarm the buffet food, which is left uncovered. Dining tables go uncleared or when they are a school canteen trolley trundled around scrapping plates at tables — genuinely disgusting. The room staff do their best to keep the old tired 80s room clean but leave bags off rubbish and laundry at the door to every apartment “block” FOOD IS INEDIBLE: Easily the worst food I’ve ever experienced at any hotel — let alone one calling itself “luxury.” • Raw baked beans served to my daughter. • A burnt omelette (there was fire as he cooked and I’ve never seen so much oil used. that tasted of smoke and nothing else. • Prawns with black bits looked badand completely inedible (in their al a carte restaurant) • The only passable food was pizza at the beach bar. I could go on but what’s the point!! I’m 21 weeks pregnant and ended up skipping meals out of concern for my health. My four-year-old daughter lived on fruit and cucumber, there was no child’s buffet as you would expect from — not ideal on what’s meant to be a relaxing family holiday. the buffet restaurant is like something from 70s it’s hideous! DRINKS ARE A JOKE: Low-quality, non- branded watered-down spirits served in old gross plastic cups. No drink service to sunbeds — unlike every other five-star resort I’ve stayed at. You have to queue at the pool bar every time for 20 mins , and even then, the drinks are undrinkable. TOWEL CHAOS & SUNBED MADNESS For beach and pool towels you’re told to trek to the beach to collect them, only to be told there are none left every afternoon we went. We were promised towels would be brought to the room — they never arrived! we had a whole last day they could have been delivered (promised at lunch time and we didn’t check out to the following day at 2pm) . As for sunbeds? You need to be up at 7am latest to claim one. People lay towels down and disappear for hours, and staff do nothing to manage it. SEWAGE SMELLS & DATED DECOR: The smell of sewage hits you in several parts of the resort. The interiors look like a tired, gloomy from the 1980s - with the exception of the al a carte restaurant. Absolutely nothing “luxury” about it. UNTRAINED & DISENGAGED STAFF: Aside from one lovely staff member in the al a carte restaurant (Giorges), staff were either cold, indifferent or actively rude. Service is sloppy and inconsistent. We also had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door — and staff entered anyway. A total violation of privacy. ACCOMMODATION MIS-SOLD: We booked a sea-view bungalow and were put in a standard apartment block overlooking air-con units. What we got looked nothing like the booking images.the hotel have said that’s the accommodation well someone should explain to them going up stairs does not a bungalow make. This hotel is deleting bad reviews.They have had mine deleted from Trip advisor - it explains the suspicious number of glowing five-star reviews. Don’t be fooled — the reality is nothing like what’s being portrayed online. The fact that they are selling this as a premium experience is frankly outrageous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It is mis-sold, mismanaged, and misleading on every front. I am now in another hotel and loving it- I will review that after the week here!

Very disappointing

Very disappointing – Not worth the money, not true Mitsis standard We are a family of two adults and two children who booked a 14-night stay at the Mitsis Hotel from July 3rd to July 17th. We chose this hotel specifically because we wanted a comfortable stay with a private pool. We paid around €10,000 just for the hotel, excluding flights, so we expected high standards. When we arrived, everything seemed fine. We were told to wait for our room and were given black wristbands that were supposed to indicate we were “VIP guests.” However, this VIP status means absolutely nothing here – we haven’t experienced any benefits from it at all, and there seems to be no point in even having it. Once we got to our room, we were deeply disappointed. It was nothing like the pictures – much smaller, barely enough space to move around the bed. It did not match what we were sold online. We immediately raised the issue via email and at the reception. We were promised they would “look into it within a few days,” but nothing happened. When we followed up, the staff couldn’t even remember us and referred us back to email – which we still haven’t received a reply to. The food is disappointing and limited in variety. Our children struggled to find anything they wanted to eat, so we had to dine outside the hotel most evenings. The à la carte restaurants on-site are fully booked – we’ve now been here for over a week and still haven’t been able to get a table. Service is generally poor. Only 2–3 staff members have been friendly – the rest seem indifferent or even annoyed. The minibar is only restocked every second day, and you only receive one bottle of wine upon arrival, which is laughable given the cost of the stay. We also weren’t allowed to get a bottle of water when leaving the hotel for a drive. We have stayed at three other Mitsis hotels, and none of them were like this. This one feels like a 3-star hotel trying to act like a 5-star, and it’s absolutely not worth the money. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone with even moderate expectations. It has been a major disappointment and has taken away from what was supposed to be a relaxing and luxurious family holiday. After posting this review, I was contacted by the hotel’s general manager. He explained that this Mitsis property is not part of the “Selected” line, which is why the standard here is different from what we’ve previously experienced at other Mitsis hotels. He kindly offered to help us book the à la carte restaurants for the rest of our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, he couldn’t offer a larger or renovated room as there were none available. He also apologized for the unhelpful attitude we experienced at reception and said he would address it internally. The hotel is in a beautiful location with a lovely view – it’s just a shame that we couldn’t get help earlier and had to post a negative review to be taken seriously.

Mitsis Bali Paradise

Mitsis Bali Paradise, Bali, Kreta: Personale i reception, bar og på restaurant er helt i top. De er hjælpsomme og søde. Menuen er varieret og af god kvalitet - og restauranten er ren og pæn, hele tiden. Der er ofte for lang ventetid/kø, til baren og der er alt for få solsenge i poolområdet. De franske guider er forholdsvis uudholdelige - og gør poolområdet svært at nyde. De larmer, råber, synger, spiller musik med tung bas, afholder spontane karaoke-koncerter med dem selv i centrum - og mangler tydeligvis helt basale manerer samt dannelse. Ganske belastende.

Vi boede der i uge 32 2022... Super lækker mad...venligt personale ( specielt Savvos ) Men går man efter et værelse uden fejl, så bliver man nok lidt skuffet....det trænger til en kærlig hånd hist og pist....og derfor er det nok ikke reelt et 5 stjernet Musikken ved main pool er AL for høj og alt for længe... Det er ikke kun et voksen hotel, som der ellers bliver skrevet.... Man skal bestille bord ved ankomst ved den Italienske, Mexicanske og Asiatiske restaurant...ellers er der full booket... Dejlig beliggenhed....

DIDNT GET WHAT I PAID FOR, ROBBED

We recently stayed at this resort 8th April to 15th April 2022 Mitsis Rinela Crete I paid for a “Private, 2 bedroom Villa, with a private pool, lounge area, 2 bathrooms and added benefits of the service and secret bar”. On the day of the arrival around 8th April, I wasn’t told that we didn’t have a villa, but we were getting the key to our room in the afternoon. No mention that the room wasn’t what I paid for or the the pool wasn’t private, but was told we did have a private pool. We were shown to our room by a lady called Nikki, we had 1 room, which had a double and 2 singles crammed into it with a shower and toilet only, room 416! We did have access to a pool, but this was a shared pool, between 2 other large families, of which had 5 young children between them and was not the private pool I had paid for. Also right by the main pool. After being shown the room, I then went back to reception to complain and was advised we would receive an additional room after our first 2 nights stay, which we did, but again not the villa we paid for, nor the private pool and after the 3rd night you would get the villa in the morning after breakfast. We finally got the room after lunchtime on the 4th day of our 7 day holiday and it was nice, however the service and the lies where unacceptable for the 5 star resort. I have been trying to get compensation for part of the holiday which I paid thousands for and think to be fair as I paid for something I didn’t get. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!! THEY STOLE MY MONEY!!!!

Super dejligt hotel med god service

Vi havde bestilt rejsen hos Spies Rejser, til dette skønne hotel på Rhodos..Med afgang fra billund, 19. juni 2022. Alt forløb til ug.. Flyveturen ligeså. Venligt og smilende personale ombord, som sørgede for super betjeningen..Efter en perfekt landing på Rhodos, og vi fandt transfer bussen, som sikker bragte os til vores Hotel. Mitsis Grand Beach HotelEfter en time fik vi anvist vores hotel,værelse nr 395, som vi IKKE var tilfreds med..Huller i gulvet, flere steder, under gulvtæppetAirconditionanlæg, stod på taget lige under vores altan, og kørte på fuld tryk.Efter kontakt med receptionen, fik vi anvist et andet værelse, som heller ikke var i vore smag..Vi havde tidliger skrevet at et værelse omkring 185.. men det havde de set stort på..Vi overnattede i 395, uden vi havde pakket ud..Næste dag fik vi værelse 284, tæt på hvad vi havde ønsket..Vi fik også en erkendtlighed, i form af lækker kage på værelset..Så kunne ferien endelig begynde..Super personale, hele vejen rundt..3 restauranter, hvor vi selv kunne bestemme menuen..Mexicansk, Burger og Kage/is/Pandekager..Der var også 3 restauranter, som vi skulle booke boed.Morgenbord, ikke det store, nærmest som det vi kunne få i buffeten. Italiensk og østasiatisk, disse 2 var superlækker..Book bord, straks ved ankomst.. kan anbefales..Buffeen, som havde åbent fra ca kl. 3,30 til sent 3,30..Der var til morgenbord mere end 130 forskellige ting man kunne nyde....Vi var på buffet fra tidlig morgen til ca.19.. super lækker mad, og god service..Vi skulle se Akropolis, Taxa kostede 62 euro hver vej. 4 personer, vi var kun 2.Lokalbus 7 euro hver vej, transporttid 2 timer..Spies rejser skulle have 39 euro Bookede ved Tui, som kørte direkte for 17 euro, som afhentede os på hotellet kl. 7.30..Perfekt, gik direkte til Akropolis, inde det blev for varmt.. Nede igen inden for 2 timer og så var temperaturen på 35 grader..Hvor vi gik rundt i den Hvide by, nød en kølig  øl på en af de hyggelige mange restauranterKørte fra P pladsen kl. 14.30 så vi havde rigeligt med tid..Stranden ved hotellet var med sten, lidt længere henne var stenen mindre og til at gå ud i., med badesko,  anbefales..2 lækre Pool,  på hotellet,Håndklæde politik kunne godt indføres..Håndklæder blev lagt ned på solsengene, af gæster, fra kl. 3 om natten, og først benyttet langt op af dagen.Det bevirkede at der ikke var solsenge til alle..Der var udendørs underholdning hver aften fra kl. 21,,det meste var super, hver har jo sin smag..Fin servering af diverse drinks og kaffe, m.m. MEN stolene, MEGET SLIDT og ØDELAGT,  kunne godt trænge til udskiftning. Vi besøgte også den skønne gamle by, en dejlig oplevelse og mange boder og butikker med souvenirs. Rundtur på hele spidsen af Rhodos og Havnen, med borge.. var en oplevelse, og kan anbefales..MEN tænk på det bliver meget varmt op af dagen, 35 grader i skyggen, og endnu mere i solen , 55 grader..Vi havde en dejlig uge, på Rhodos med et super godt hotel..Mitsis Grand Beach HotelLidt slidt hist og her, men uden betydning, værelset var pænt og rent,, Smilende damer som sørgede for en god standard på værelsetVi fik tidlig morgenmad den sidste dag, inden bussen hentede os, ca. 50 m fra hotellet Ida og Bjarke Lohmann Odense  Danmark

Luxury All Inclusive Mitsis Alila Hotel

Just back from a fabulous week at Mitsis Alila – would highly recommend to anyone of any age (we didn’t have children with us so can’t give you any insight into the family side of things). RESTAURANTS Buffet -open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a late-night option. Can sit in or eat out with lovely sea view. Great range of food as you’d expect for such a hotel, a good option for those who prefer numerous choices and not necessarily wanting sauces or spices. Also has feature cuisine evenings. Tex-Mex – Good variety of all variations of Mexican food, surf-and-turf a good choice, with sizeable steak. Minor quibble is the courtyard setting. Italian – Great setting, nice menu, very much a family atmosphere (good buzz when we attended). Pizza and pasta for all plus some classic Italian dishes. Portions medium-sized but large appetites can order more. Greek – next to Italian so same sea view. Classic local dishes served to a very high standard. Pan-Asian & Sushi – evening only, very interesting varied menu, a number of sushi options plus varied Asian choices. A shout out for the Mongolian beef. Ouzerie – we didn’t do brunch but lunch was excellent. Service fantastic – George and Nanna the best duo you’ll come across, extremely friendly and welcoming, visit once and they’ll remember you the next time. Great food and view. Portions not very large. Not open for Dinner. Burger Restaurant - Never made it to this restaurant, not open for dinner but very popular. On same site as Ouzerie so excellent view. Pizza on the Beach – Pizza Oven next to the Beach Bar Ice Cream & Popcorn served from Beach Bar Others – you can only eat so much so we didn’t make it to the Creperie (looked amazing), Pitta Corner or sample Afternoon Tea. A big shout out to Evi and Charis and all of the Food & Beverage team and staff throughout all the restaurants and bars. BARS Wine & Champagne Bar – great option, wide range of wines and champagnes all included in your package and overseen by the fantastic and extremely knowledgeable pairing of Magda and Nicole. Whether you want to learn more about Greek wines, just want something wet and white or want help with a wine for your dinner they can talk you through it all. Cocktail Bar – also the (outdoor) site for evening entertainment which can vary in quality – great tribute bands (Supremes, Drifters), decent saxophonist and average rock trios. Note the music by law must end by 11pm. Bar staff make a wide range of cocktails and less complex long drinks with top-shelf spirits. Long Bar – large bar off main lobby, open till 1am. Beach Bar – has a small seated area and live music some Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The site from which numerous waiters/waitresses (Spiros was very helpful) carry drinks to thirsty sunbathers. Clean toilets and outside showers are next door with pizza on other side. BEACH/POOL AREA Pebble beach is tough to walk on in bare feet, need swim shoes, crocs and flip flops don’t work. Sea is usually very calm. Sunbeds of excellent quality, fresh beach towels are delivered to your room daily. Kostas and Mohammed and team do a fantastic job here. Large Pool area with lots of sun beds, but come early to avoid disappointment. Separate family pool with water feature and kids clubs etc ( we didn’t make it here) Daily Fitness Activity Programme – There are lots of things organised to cover all needs Yoga, beach volleyball, table tennis etc I took part in the Aqua Aerobics every day at 11,15 with Nico (great motivator), for 30 mins of fitness to burn off the large amount of food and alcohol. SPA – of no interest to us so can’t comment. TIPS As an all-inclusive there is absolutely no pressure to tip but with staff generally of a very high quality and both helpful and friendly we viewed it as we would any restaurant or hotel so tipped where appropriate. As it is near on impossible to obtain low denomination notes or change at the hotel it is better to come prepared. I made the booking direct with the hotel and had fantastic advice and help especially from the Reservations Manager Tasos. Also prior to our visit and during our stay we had continued support from the Front Office manager Michael and his Concierge/Reception team. A very special Time at Mitsis Hotel

A very special Time at Mitsis Hotel, Rinela Beach Resort & Spa. We are from the UK and have traveled to many 5 Star resorts in our time but this one truly stands out. The Staff, the service including the high restaurant and room standards are excellent. The wonderful resort location leading onto the beach is beautiful. We also understand that the right staff is so dearly important, so would like to commend Gili who made our time and others very special plus entertaining, thank you. Mitsis renela ,crete.

Mitsis renela ,crete. Having a chilled week away in what we thought would be a 5* treat. 2 days left and can't wait to go home. The hotel is beautiful. Well cared for and super clean. Staff are polite and generally happy. Boy do they earn their money, not enough staff at peak times,or foresight of management to jump in and give a hand. Again, staff are not allowed to use their initiative to solve issues. It is virtually impossible to book speciality restaurants unless you complain to the manager. Main dining room food is average. Too much too mention as I am sat here with an empty glass and calling it quits and go to bed. No WiFi in room, no British channels on TV, Chinese?????. Can't even get bbc world news,. Would I come to a mitsis hotel again,no ,I wouldn't. I wouldn't recommend it here either. Everybody having same issues. Come on mitsis managers ,step up to the plate,roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. Stop referring to your web page ,which you can't get in room because of lack of WiFi and let staff use initiative without saying sorry not sorry. So frustrated ,especially when you are retired from hospitality , having been there ,done that ,got the t shirt. Over 35yrs experience ,having to try and be objective and fair.

Great staff terrible management

Terrible management We stayed at the faliraki beach hotel from 14 to 21 October 2021 It is impossible to find a sun lounger after 7.30 in the morning, every one has a towel on it every morning we looked after breakfast at 10 am everything taken. Having had to sit in adjacent chairs we saw perhaps 20% being used WHY DO YOU ALLOW THIS????? It was our 57th wedding anniversary, we told the concierge this and he promised a special evening, did it happen NO don’t make promises you have no intention of keeping House keeping seem to find it impossible to restock the coffee milk etc without having to complain EVERY SINGLE DAY

Mitsis Rodos Maris, Kiotari

Booked this hotel for a girlie week away with my cousin as part of her 50th birthday celebrations. We are still here and having a lovely time at The Mitsis Rodos Maris. We are being well looked after as the staff are super friendly and so welcoming, this in my opinion is one of this hotels greatest assets and nothing seems too much trouble. The a la carte options here at The Rodos Maris and The Brunch are superb, our favourites are The Pan Asia, Greek and Brunch. The Mex Tex and American are also very good. Miss Irene, Victoria, Kosta, Demetra and her team are fantastic and you can see they work hard at keeping their holiday makers happy. I found at the a la carte restaurants the staff would acknowledge you were waiting and I found this reassuring to know they aware we were there. The little touches like this go a long way. The buffet restaurant was good and the staff very accommodating. The bar staff are great, the service is good and in particular Andreas and Elisabeth really looked after us. We found the Reception team to be helpful, polite and friendly and we were upgraded to an apartment in the grounds at our request. The Beach bar is really good and Debs is fantastic, full of life and good fun. All in all a superb experience. Well done The Mitsis Team and thank you for making our holiday a memorable one ❤️❤️
