The phone plan for Mint has been great.

The phone plan for Mint has been great. But then i decided to buy a new phone with them. How dare I do that! Worst company ever. The phone never even made it to me and i was charged $500. I never got the phone and they refused any support at all. Confirmed delivered by Fedex to H.H.H. THAT IS NOT MY NAME. it was clearly stolen. I purchased insurance but i never even got the phone to activate it. Im tired of getting danced around. I want my money back.

I have wasted an hour in Europe trying…

I have wasted an hour in Europe trying to get WiFi calling to work. It has worked on and off and now Mint doesn't even recognize my number. I renewed (annual) on the condition they make the feature work from Europe and they promised. Now I've been on the phone twice, wasting 40 min on two diff calls with two reps, promising they would fix it. f Mint and they'd get a MINUS 1 if that were an option

There should be 2 separate reviews ,one…

There should be 2 separate reviews ,one for the service which seems good so far and the second for customer service website and app which totally SUCKS! Been trying all day to log in and it won't recognize either of my mint numbers so I have. O access to my accounts. Customer service is clueless. Spent hrs on the phone with them . They can't help. So now I'm stuck with no account access and no way to change payment method since I do not give payment information over the phone verbally

Poor qualitu

I just want to say, THE QUALITY OF MINT IS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I live in north Seattle, and I pay for the premium mint plan, and I'm only able to make calls and use data for about six hours per 24 day. During business hours, I rarely am even able to make a call l. Maybe there's something unique about my situation, but my advice is don't use mint if you live in Seattle and need a reliabke network.

Horrible set-up experience

I checked on their website to make sure my iphone 6 was usable with Mint Mobile, that the phone was unlocked, and that the IMEI number was usable on their carrier. It was all a go. After receiving my sim card, and trying to activate it, the app then refused to download saying my iphone's software was not recent enough to use the app. I had to then activate through a phone call instead. After going through the call, they said they would email me in about an hour to confirm. No email. I called customer service again. They told me to contact my old carrier. I did that and spent another hour troubleshooting back and forth between both companies. When Mint Mobile said that my number was finally able to transfer and I tried to turn on my phone, it then said that the SIM card was not usable. I called Mint Mobile customer service for the 5th time, and they said that my phone was actually not compatible with them. I asked for an explanation and was told that I would be transferred to IT department, and then was actually transferred over to Apple IT instead, who had absolutely no idea why Mint Mobile could not use the phone.

A Hot Mess: No Phone Service for Two Days

After having no phone service for two days, I contacted Mint Mobile's Customer Service. My phone is still without serice (since Friday, and today is Sunday). Their service is undependable, and as most people, I depend on a phone that is operational 24 hours day. The support is a fussy mess with information being asked in bits and pieces, necessitating wasted time checking my phone for the information they request At this point, I would like to add that I am 76 years old and disabled, making dependable service a high priority.

Horrible customer service

After having Mint for 3 months and deciding it was not for me I contacted customer service for my account number and my transfer pin. After attempting to transfer service, I was told by my new carrier that the account number I was given was incorrect, I new believe that this was done on purpose. I called them while my new carrier was on hold to try to get my correct account number, I spoke with a women who took my information and she transferred me over to a different department to get my account number. The representative asked me why I’m leaving and I told him…. He then proceeded to try to sell me services and try to get me to stay. I told him I was not interested in staying with Mint, I just needed my account number…. He completely Ignored me and kept trying to sell me services. Again I asked for my account number and he ignored me, and started talking over me saying how other companies can NOT compare. Again I told him in not interested in staying with mint I just needed my account number and I asked if I could speak with someone else. He I ignored my request and continued with his sales pitch. I asked him again to speak with someone else and again I was ignored. I was trapped on the phone with him for over 20 minutes. I asked at least 20 more times for my account number or to speak with someone who could provide it….. time and time again he ignored me and continued with his sales pitch. I finally explained that my new carrier was on hold on the line so I could get my account number, I demanded to talk to someone else and he finally said oh okay well if you’re sure…… I’ll never recommend Mint to anyone.

The Mint Mobile coverage map is a lie!

On mint mobile.com the coverage area map shows my area to have strong 5G. The truth is there isn’t a mint cellular tower anywhere near me. That took me several calls to their customer service to find that out. I moved to Consumer Cellular which has excellent coverage. Since it took me more than 7 days to figure this out, Mint Mobile WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND of the 3 months required deposit!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND MINT MOBILE!!!

Horrible Customer service

Mint mobile has good service, but NO customer service my adult special needs daughter needed to update her email on her account we've been going round and round they will tell us a tickets been open and someone will call you back in 24 hours. We've been transferred to many supervisors that can't do anything!!! All we need to do is update her email address why is it so hard. She hasn't been able to use her phone for 2 days. I would strongly consider NOT using this company

I fell for the $15.00 a month scam

I fell for the $15.00 a month scam, I bought a plan for two lines, When the trial was about to expire I tried using the same credit card that I used to set up the plan and Mint said it was refused and to use a different card. Then they separated my plan into two plans and charged both my credit cards as single lines. When I complained, they refunded to money on one plan and cut off service to both. Now I have file fraud charges through my bank for the payment they recieved and find a different phone carrier Update: I talked to Mint Mobile Customer Service about my issue. They told me that they could not apply the $130.55 that I already paid them for my phone plan. They wanted me to send them another $184.00 to make my phone active for a year with 5 gigabytes of data each month. I would be into them for $314.55 with the hope that I might be getting a refund of the initial payment. Why is it that they can charge your account instantly but it takes 7-10 business days for reimbursement? Anyway, I found a new plan through AT&T prepaid, Unlimited Talk and text plus 16 Gigabytes of data each month for $25.00 a month which includes all the fees.

Worst Customer Service of my life

I signed up during the time they were running a promotion, but the promotion wasn't applied to my account. When I called to ask about it and see if I could get the deal, I was met with the most incompetent customer service I have seen in my entire life. The lady on the phone immediately said that there was nothing I could do and that I was stuck with the plan I had purchased- I asked to speak to her manager, and she kept saying no. I insisted on speaking to her manager, so she put me on hold, and the manager picked up the phone (though I'm 90% sure it was the same lady). The so-called "manager" offered no empathy, no solution, just the same dry "there's nothing we can do on our end." Anyone who has worked in customer service would know that the first rule is to truly empathize with the customer and then provide any sort of solution to RETAIN the customer. I don't know who is training these people, but there needs to be a serious recalibration of the whole customer service team. Ariel, who I spoke to on the phone, provided terrible customer service. I do not recommend this company if you are planning on asking customer service for any type of help.

I am NOT a mint mobile customer, and will never be.

I am NOT a mint mobile customer. I get ads daily from this company, every day, all through the day...even on my computer saved files. After months of not having a way to unsubscribe, I called Mint Mobile. After about 55 minutes, and two reps, they could not stop this on their end, so were trying to advise me how to on my end. I am 72 years old and do not appreciate having to stop these emails myself. I feel totally harassed and would NEVER recommend them for ANYTHING, as I continue to waste energy with trying to stop these emails. Sandra T.
