Decided Not to use this and returned device back in time. It was held and not taken in in time and was charged for it being late. Never used it and I had already paid monetary fee for 1 year. OMG don't do that. A $35 fee was taken and 1month fee plus 3 months monetary fee for returning it. OMG Where is that right. Company is a rip off. I am still disputing the money they kept for something I NEVER USED. The next 4/23 I got a phone call from Med Alert and they said everything I heard before. More lies about how I knew before I got this what was going to happen if I sent it back. Still No more funds refunded. Don't associate with this company. Just out for what they can get from you. Please do not call me again!! 4/24 Another call trying to explain what they did OMG They stole my money Making excuses. I NEVER used the system but they sure knew how to take my money. Buyer be ware.
This company is AWEFUL and they literally rob people. Please read all the reviews about how people have had to send back the device - timely sent it back just like us - only to be promised a refund and months later we're still being told the situation is being "escalated" for review. That's a blatant lie and they keep people's money even though the device is sent back in its original condition and in a timely manner according to their terms. These people STEAL and LIE.

By the time I realized I needed help I'd already fallen 3 times, drawing blood twice. After I got the Life Alert button I again fell. Pushed the button and help was here post haste. Best purchase I've ever made!
I fell in yard on March 14,2025 .Medical Alert was their for me. They sent some out to get me up.The young man the young lady was so kind to me.

Cancellation Process is fraudulent. We started the process to cancel service back in November 2024 with a phone call to customer service. The service was cut off that day. They promised to send us a return label. We called several times to follow up, but a return label was not sent until January 2025. Then, the company refused to confirm receipt of the returned equipment until the end of January. Then they said it needed to be reviewed for 30 days. Then they claimed they still needed more time. It was not until today, more than five months later, that they finally acknowledged receipt, but they would only partially refund the service fee that we had previously paid in December from the end of January. Even though we had no service for months! So, they deliberately delayed closing the account until this week in order to keep more of the service fee. Its a shame, because the bracelet worked well, but after our experience trying to cancel, we are completely turned off to this company and would never recommend to anyone.
I've been waiting for a refund on an overcharge since 2-18 and it's 4-16 and I still haven't received it. I've made phone calls and I get the same story every time. I was told within 30 days I'd have my refund, guess what, nothing yet and another call with no results. I was charged a monthly charge even though my account was closed. I wanted to speak to a supervisor but the girl told me it might be 3 to 5 days until they could call me back AND it could delay my refund even longer. What kind of crap is that!!!! Worst customer service I ever had. I would give 5 negative stars if I could.
