Marsh and Parsons, Tooting - a really good experience!

I recently used the Tooting Bec branch of Marsh and Parson to sell my property and cannot speak highly enough of their Director, Angelo Mulholland. Angelo and Thomas Syms were reliable and honest in their dealings with me, they are both highly experienced agents who know the wider housing market and the local market well and understand the impact of the change in one on the other. Connor Marney, managed the on-the-ground marketing and sale of my property, an absolute star! Calm and reliable, unfailingly polite and hard working I felt really fortunate having Connor as part of my sales team. A big thank you to M&P, I have no hesitation in recommending you!

I worked with Marsh and Parsons to do a short-term lease. My agent rushed me to send over full funds (deposit and entirety of rent) immediately to secure the flat, warning me that I might not get the place otherwise, so I did. He wrote to confirm that I got the place. A month later, he said that I actually did not get the place as apparently the landlord was no longer renting it out, despite the contract and confirmation. He “generously” — that’s sarcasm — offered to refund the money. When he sent it back, it was short $1k. He refused to do anything else about it. Not only did he fail to fulfill contract obligations and screw me over that way, he also caused me financial loss for the privilege.

Professionally Run Agency

I really rate M&P's property…

I really rate M&P's property management. Charlie Caine is extremely professional, efficient and easy to deal with. I own another property somewhere not served by M&P and it is a completely different story! I'd highly recommend them to any landlord wanting quality management that removes the stress from property ownership.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WHETHER LANDLORD OR TENANT

********AVOID******** ********AVOID******** The business is dangerous to be involved with - they should not be allowed to be responsible for client money such is the level of incompetience. Summary: we are landlords; every step of the process of reletting our house has been botched. We were tricked/rushed/cajouled into signing the contract before the reference checks on the new tenants were conducted properly - obviously some internal target needed to be met and we fell for it... The tenants subsequently failed the reference checks but it was too late to do anything about it. The tenants have now moved in and are not paying the rent on time. Every statement for the past 4 months has been incorrect. We have erronously been charged for 100£'s worth of things that we should have been charged for. We haven't had an account manager for more than a few weeks before they get moved around.. Individually the peope seem great - but it is a rotten organisation. Our previous (lovely) tenants have been waitng 6 weeks to get their deposit back from Marsh and Parsons - in spite of us not asking for any deduction etc.. I understand the business has been bought by another agent - Dexters. We have been using Marsh and Parsons for 6 years - it is honestly a BAD idea to use them. Look at the reviews online - the Trustpilot reviews are all similar to this - I can only assume there is some incentive for the good reviews on other review sites - definately some sort of manipulation going on. *********AVOID AT ALL COSTS ***********
